Guesthouse Athos in Kotor

First of all never take the room on top, the room is very small, one small window and ceiling is too tilted that's even difficult when you wake up to sit straight on the bed.
Generally also the room is not clean with old wooden furniture and floor so it doesn't feel like a proper hotel for the amount of money i paid
Secondly, the bathroom is outside of the room on public stairs.
I found a dead insect first time i went to the bathroom directly
The bathroom had no window which is why it smells very moldy and uncomfortable.
The first night the moldy smell came into my room when i woke up the room was stinky. I asked the receptionist to find a solution, they said they will take care, never did!
Only one toilet paper roll and they never checked in 4 nights if anything was needed
Men who are working there didn't exchange a word with me and they looked at me with attitude speaking in their own language. Very uncomfortable situation.
Last but not least, if you are planning to sleep early that is not the hotel for you (at least during July) because the bar with live DJ sets is playing every day of the week and weekend until 1 am.

This is the worst experience ever!I’m local and it’s very sad how foreigners come and distroy reputation of our country with providing unprofessional and horrible service.
The hotel is own by Turkish ppl who came to this country to take advantage and scam ppl!
I came to the hotel and they hanged the phone number of reception desk on the door to call.
The guy picked up the phone and said
Sorry I’m not working tonight and he hanged up.He was so rude and barely speaking english.
Then,the host showed up and said that all the rooms are full after I got confirmation e mail for complete booking and than he recommended his friend’s hotel to stay, which is double expensive.Since we came late we didn’t have a choice.
Real scam.Confirming reservations with a stupid excuse that they ‘be been having problems with the sistem and sending ppl over to more expensive hotels to help friends make money.Scammers!

Avoid them. No one speak english, not clean at all. We paid night with breakfast but there was no breakfast and they still didn't refund money for that. In the middle of the night someone tried to enter in our room. Better sleep on the street

No one was there for me to check in, I was left outside in the rain and had to book another place for the night. They never responded to my texts, talking to locals they ALL said yikes stay away from Guesthouse Athos!
