Where to stay in South Holland

Good sized room, easy to find, decent amenities and breakfast. The pillows in my room were not great and identical so could not pick one that suited me better. Didn’t sleep great

Two stops by metro to/from Central station. Big S/M nearby (behind). The room was small. Had a fridge and coffee machine though. Small rooms but great price, clean and excellent location for cruisers.

Breakfast options were plentiful and very good, the bar service was friendly and very good, our corner room with large windows and balcony provided excellent views of the river, bridge and passing boat. The layout with sitting area and desk was very useful. Option to use stairs was appreciated. The kind and friendly staff made our visit to this interesting city a pleasure.

Location was excellent and close to main attractions.Only inconvenience was that tram was not working but metro was OK with a lift. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and facilities were excelent with coffee machine, fridge and safe.

No solo light and electric socket for each bed. Also, no curtains for privacy for each bed. The location is good, only 10 minutes to the central station and 20 minutes to the city centre. You can store your luggage there for free. The breakfast is not so great, so it is not really necessary to add.

The room was a bit dark, and the carpet was very dirty, making me feel like there were fleas. The city view from the room I booked was quite nice though! 😍 It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the station, which was a bit inconvenient. 😢

Pleasant hotel close to Rotterdam Central station. Friendly staff with plenty of English. Seems to have some oirt of "fast food" Indian restaurant attatched, menu card was in the room. Kettle and tea bags (no coffee) in the room.

The room was beautiful but there was a lot of areas missed for cleaning. Beside bed , back of big mirror etc. skirting edges all thick with dust. Our first observation was the uncared for front door area and mat which gives a poor impression. Also dirt in door runners on lift floor. Shame as such simple things. We did mention cleaning our room and the rather worn carpet was vacuumed better that day...

We stayed for 1 night before crossing out of Rotterdam. We loved our stay here! Warmly greeted immediately by staff. Room was large and charming as pictures. Easy 10 minute walk to cruise terminal in the am.

The staff at this hotel was extremely accommodating. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to the metro for easy access for day trips. Their breakfast was lovely and the small hotel bar was very cheerful.

At our arrival at 15.00 the room was ‘t available yet although this is the check in time mentioned on the website. Elegantly solved by the staff by offering a drink on the house. Next morning: no water at all available in the bathroom for shower and sink due to low water pressure. Expensive breakfast: I recommend going to Anne and Max opposite the hotel. Recommended for any and all new or exchange students attending and settling in to TUDelft for the first time. This is a great choice if you need something centrally located to public transport and not too expensive. The room is comfortable though basic, and the service is good. Not fancy, but excellent at what it does. The free laundry was a very nice convenience!

It's great experience as place mix hotel, permanent room renting, co-working spaces, leasure areas and get together spaces like gym, ping-pong, projector (saw Spanish La Liga match there!) etc. Hotel rooms are spacious, very comfortable. One small minus is the quite tricky variable light intensity control. Breakfast in the bar is nice and tasty. All is topped with very friendly staff.

The Perfect room and Hotel for a Family Trip in Den Haag!

Excellent staff, really helpful and welcoming. The room is always neat and super clean, nicely decorated and with all one might need to relax or work. I really appreciated the silence and the tranquility of the rooms and the neighbourhood. It's my second stay in this hotel, and I am looking forward to coming back!

The place was decent, however there was a smell that smelled like a hospital and it wasn’t pleasant. Also the rooms did not have any hair dryer, as all the places we stayed at had. The windows didn’t open, lack of window. Room size was small.

The room was really just big enough for sleeping, but the staff were all very kind and I felt at ease staying there! However, it's a bit far from Hague Central Station on foot, so it was difficult to pull a carry-on. There's a street-level station nearby, so I think it's a good idea to use that if walking is difficult! The view from the window was amazing!!

The room was small, but the location was okay. It's close to everything. The Maurizio Residence Museum, where you can see the famous "Girl with a Pearl Earring," is just a few minutes' walk away.

I have stayed here many times and this time upon check in there was only one person on..around 1520 hrs. After being on the road from 0900hrs with trains and planes was tired already and waited 1hr at the desk to check in. Unacceptable as 1hr out of my vacation ! Not as comfortable as usual. Good if ur on a budget, not if ur looking for something perfect. Decently clean and staff were meh. Very small room. The only problem is very bad soundproof and lightproof on rooms, you can hear everything of other rooms and the blackout curtains don’t really blackout. Otherwise it’s ok, very very well located

Single bed is narrow and the sheets were a little stained but other than clean and warm. Thankfully did not experience any noise/ disruptions

Not quite what we hoped for. I made a mistake in booking a hotel further out from the centre. This is a hotel situated on a business park so there is no local charm. I have mobility problems and the hotel was a nightmare, with badly done, retrofitted ramps in doorways. The power point in the bathroom blew the room electrics when we plugged in the hotel's kettle. We were told it couldn't handle anything...

The staff service was somewhat cold. As for the rest, I've already commented on it in another review. They could improve the facilities and room, and do better maintenance, to be considered a 4-star hotel. It's a non-smoking hotel, but I found cigarette butts on the terrace, so the room is just as contaminated.

For a hotel rated 4 stars, the room and facilities could be significantly improved; they were somewhat neglected and poorly maintained. Although the lady preparing breakfast was attentive, the buffet, while seemingly varied, was processed. The crepes and other items were packaged, not homemade.

A lovely property and nice room. The hotel’s location is good, not too far from the tram and walkable into the town. The room itself could do with some renovation - some wallpaper is peeling off, there are stains over the wall and it could do with a good paint and clean. Normally, I’m quite forgiving when it comes to the cheapest hostel in town, but this one had some issues with cleanliness and with how the staff handled issues. Although they were clearly trying their best, they didn’t seem able to get the situation under control.

Suggest to visit only if you want to feel the life as a homeless or poor. Facilities and location itself may not be the real problem, but the people living there and around the hostel may be.

Attic room was large. No AC so open windows let in noisy drinking crowd sounds at 2 AM. . .Stairs narrow steep winding very short foot area--dangerous. No help taking luggage to attic room. Toiletries very tiny, insufficient for 2 people. No indication of WiFi code in the room. No tea bags supplied w the kettle.

This hotel could really improve with some easy changes. They only give you coffee in the room on your first day. That makes no sense!! They don’t replenish toilet paper, Kleenex or empty the trash when they make up your room. We had to ask for more toilet paper. The towels are thin and old and so are the bed linens. The chairs are stained. General maintenance isn’t addressed, throughout the hotel....

Centrally located next to a canal of Old Delft, we got a studio with a kitchenette which we used to fix breakfast. Very nice overall. We were in the annex 1 street over, so I can't comment about the main hotel.
