Nowa Panorama Hotel in Krakow

I always try to find something positive to say so i shall start with the friendly staff, and a very decent breakfast buffet in the morning. That’s about it, the room was tiny, the bathroom was a joke with the toilet bowl actually touch ing the wash hand basin stand……that translates into “…..it was not possible to sit on the toilet for a number 2…..” couple of days the room was not even cleaned or refreshed in any way. The internet connection didn’t work and we reported the issue every single day. Same for the TV not working, one remote was actually held together with gaffer tape…..twice we were told it had been fixed but to no avail. Location is ok as it is very close to tra sport links, but it is not central……:-(

The soundproofing is terrible! It's so noisy!

We just didn’t like the it not what we were expecting room small reception 1 person friendly the best thing breakfast didn’t smile or be friendly lift was well very bumpy

So basically we arrived today which was the 24th december and from the outside you Know what your going in to. The room was disgusting and very small the bed was rock solid when I felt it there was hairs all over the beds and mould up the wall so I rang reception n they tried to move us to the same looking room with 1 extra bed and that was litreally the same so we asked for out money back and they said no and eveything so we walked out and was looking around all day for 6/7 hours for a new hotel please do not book this even if it’s the cheapest now my Christmas is wrecked and eveything just want to go home now and staff are horrible there

We booked this hotel going by the pics of the room, etc. we dont pay much attention to the negative reviews as you always get them, we arrived 3 stars above the door, receptionist friendly asked where the bar was and was told no bar alcohol free hotel, mmm first negative thought. Room clean but very dated, quite poor actually, thought lift was wierd, like a gate that's moves from side to side, found out later hotel is part residential, hence the metal frame in lift. Asked receptionist where nearest shop was n told 20 minutes to supermarket, went for a walk to get our bearings. Not a lot around other than busy junction hotel just off. Caught the tram into centre to goto main square as Christmas market on, lovely city n main square is gorgeous, market excellent. Went back to hotel which was a 25-minute ride on the tram 18 about 10 stops away. Room was freezing in the night, granddaughter woke up the next morning moaning and wanting to go home. We decided to look for a better hotel and nearer centre of city, which we did. So to sum it up, hotel is never 3 stars more like a 1, on the outskirts of the city far from centre. No bar (we like to chill after a day out on returning to hotel and have a couple of drinks before going to bed), no restaurant just a small area in reception. You get what you pay for is our motto.

I canceled my booking at Hotel Nowa Panorama in Krakow due to several issues. First and foremost, the hotel was generally dirty. My room had a strong smoky smell because smoking was allowed at the entrance, and since my room was on the first floor, the odor infiltrated the space, likely due to poor ventilation. I found it difficult to sleep because of the noise from guests coming and going, talking, and slamming doors outside. The most significant problems were the smell of smoke and the condition of the room, which was worn and unclean. There was a lot of molds on the bathroom tiles, and the bathroom door had visible grime. Additionally, the area around the hotel was also quite unclean.
