Lorf Hostel&Coffee in Krakow

I don't recommended. Lots of problem. Staffs are rude, the kitchen was disgusting, also bathroom.the place is super noisy.

Very dirty and unpleasant. The only good thing was the cheap price but would recommend pay a couple extra dollars and staying somewhere else.

Disgusting! Bed Bugs! Shower Fungus! Beware! We were supposed to stay here for 14 nights but ended up leaving after our 3rd. This place is a disaster. Upon arriving, the police showed up to arrest someone who was staying in our room. The staff never explained, apologized, or even mentioned this. The accommodations were not true to the photos. Pooled water and debris were in several basins for several days. Black mold in every bathroom. Our room was never tidied despite the full trash bin and the folks seemingly living there full time. In our brief 3 nights we contracted a foot rash and several bed bug bites. Mystery stains on the mattresses. Super unhelpful manager. No refund was granted. We hope they used our $200 to put soap in the empty dispensers, repair lighting in the toilets, call in a hardcore exterminator and plumber. Worst hostel experience hands down and we have stayed in a LOT of hostels. The bar is also just a room with a pool table and couches, not an actual bar.

I was unlucky enough to arrive at the Giraffe Hostel early July, having stayed here before and thoroughly enjoying myself I assumed that it would be the same the second time around ... WELL...wasn't I in for a SHOCK. Why Jazzy Pee? Why were you in for a shock?? i hear you all yell. Where do I begin? Once shown to my room at 1st glance I thought I had "nailed it" by grabbing the middle single bed only to have my arse fall through the bed on to the dirty floor as soon as I sat down on it. A couple of DIY jobs and i was back in the game, the bed could now hold a pregnant hippo thanks to my joinery. After we had settled, the 1st stop was the TOALETT where one had to see a friend off to the coast.. My personal opinion is that releasing a toally (a joaby ) should be a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable period allowing you the opportunity to reflect of both past and future HOWEVER... to my horror I was met with a 3 X 3 box room pure reeking of shite, was actually the first time where I have been able to identify what the previous occupant had for their breakfast and to make it worse their were only two male toilets in the entire hostel (just as bad as eachother might I add) baring in mind the hostel could hold 50+ people at a time - that's a lot of jobbies ( or Jabai - plural ) The hostel also boasts about having a BAR... Now I'm partial to a drink or two myself although to be quite frank I've seen more alcohol at a Nuns 72nd birthday party (that was a wild night to be fair) the selection of alcohol was abysmal but cheap. ON TO the kitchen... oh my word, if there is ever a earthquake there is a good possibility it'll cost a couple thousands pounds worth of IMOROVEMENT. Oven & Grill is older than the Taj Mahal and even the fridge screams " get me out of here " during the night. Once you battle through the foosty smells you will probably admit defeat and order a pizza, there is a local pizza delivery which i highly reccommend where all the delivery men are F.I.N.E... tidy pieces of ass so they are #winkwink #yummy #pepperoni. We dealt very little with the hostel staff and anytime we did they were friendly and made us feel welcome so not a bad word to say about those geezers (mwahh) My overall stay was very disappointing and unfortunately will be my last, from now on it'll be me, the dug and the tent getting pitched up in the park next to the locals. The service was minimal, but there was no bright, smiling interaction from the staff. Everything felt very bare bones.

Requested a lower bed but i get the upper bed. I did ask the staf but he said cannot change as all full. I arrive at the late of midnight and i cant sleep at all and have backpain. I think the policy need to revise for better. I know staff did arrangement for a bed thru email but i hope staff read once received the booking with some message there. I send 2times of the note because i had an issue with my backache and arrived very late. Still got 2 lower bed available till i checkout the next day..
