The hotel is cosy and beautiful. The staff are lovely they let me stay pass check in time as it was freezing and my taxi wasn't until the afternoon. The room is cosy and is clean. The food also is fabulous. I have nothing bad to say. There is so many restaurants near by and their pool is beautiful

A very boutique hotel with a unique sense of style. Subtle modern architectural elements are blended into an old structure, creating a Roman bath inspired atmosphere with moody lighting. The room design is also very stylish, especially the ceiling.
As for the location, I hardly need to mention how close it is to Rynek Główny, literally just 20 steps away.
Everything, including the service and the sauna, was excellent. The only minor issue I noticed was that the bathtub and bathroom floor can be a bit slippery, so some care is needed when stepping out. Other than that, I very much enjoyed my stay.

We had the most amazing time at Hotel Stary right before Christmas time. The hotel is located right in the center of the old town walking distance to all the sightseeing spots. The hotel is clean, staff very welcoming, rooms are comfortable and food options are great for everyone. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and definitely will be looking forward to coming back when we visit krakow again

Great design hotel. Very chic. The rooms are extremely stylish combining the old and the new. They are a little dark however (we couldn't see anything in our shower). Breakfast was good too but the service was a bit slow (wait for them to bring a menu, wait for coffee). The hotel has a great rooftop that overlooks Krakow, and a very atmospheric pool in the lower lever. Overall I would recommend but with caveats as above.

We love this hotel and keep coming back. The style and decor is unique and it has a fantastic grotto like spa area. The staff have always been courteous and professional every time we visit. If you want to be in the centre there is no better location , just a few steps away from the main square.

Amazing hotel and lovely staff, would definitely stay here again. The location is absolutely perfect being so close to the square. We stayed here last week, but arrived at around 3am after we had to land in Prague and endure a 6 hour coach journey due to the bad fog closing Krakow airport. I emailed the hotel about our delay and got a prompt reply. Even at that time in a morning they brought us a kettle and some tea bags and sugar. The lady on reception was very welcoming. Breakfast was also great, lots to choose from and good quality, very attentive staff too. The room was lovely, can’t fault it in any way. The pool is amazing, as is the sauna and steam room. The hotel has such a laid back and homely feel. There are dressing gowns and slippers in the room so people tend to walk to the pool area in those as the entrance to the pool is right near the lift so you don’t have to walk through the hotel in just your swimwear. We had a lovely experience, and would definitely choose hotel Stary to stay at in the future if we return to Krakow. We have also recommended the hotel to family and friends. Thank you very much we had a great time.

The Hotel Stary is a gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location, just steps from the main square. We were there for new years and the hotel was beautifully decorated. The staff was very attentive and helpful, assisting with our luggage and helping us arrange a taxi to the airport. The only reason I did not give five stars is due to lack of coffee machine in the room, and a hairdryer that kept malfunctioning. I’d recommend this hotel to couples visiting krakow.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Stary. We found the staff to be informative, friendly, and helpful. The room was nice - 4 stars because it would've been nice to have 2 pillows without having to ask, and some type of hotpot/coffee set up in the room (we like our first cup before we have to see other people lol). But this is really splitting hairs because we were able to go to the bar and get a gorgeous cappuccino made without having to do the whole breakfast option. The lovely warm pool, salt room, and saunas were so great!!! The best way to get over jet lag. We would stay here again for sure.
