Reviews
If you are an international traveler looking for a high-quality holiday experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. My recent stay at Hotel Bukowy Park during the Christmas season was a series of disappointments that started with the price and ended with the poor quality of almost every service provided.
The Room and Spa: Outdated and Gloomy
At a price point of €300 per night, double the usual rate, one expects a bright, modern, and welcoming environment. Instead, the rooms are incredibly dark and feel as though they haven’t been renovated in decades. The atmosphere is gloomy rather than cozy. This lack of maintenance extends to the spa area, which was completely uninviting. The water in the pool was uncomfortably cold, and the jacuzzi was filled with an unappealing foam, suggesting poor hygiene or chemical balance. It is simply an old facility that is no longer up to international standards. Here take a look upon the picture at where the electrical sockets are located turning the light on and off all the time asleep ...
A Culinary Disaster
The food and beverage experience was the most frustrating part of the stay. The hotel claims to serve "100% real juice," but it is actually dispensed from a machine and tastes purely synthetic. Furthermore, charging €7.50 for a tiny 0.2-liter portion of mulled wine that tastes artificial is nothing short of a scam.
The meals were equally poor. The food looked unappetizing and lacked any flavor. Even the fruit selection was dismal; instead of a fresh variety, there were only tasteless oranges and plums. The desserts felt like mass-produced, factory-made items that were served in bulk and never changed. On Christmas Eve, the hotel offered a fish-only menu with absolutely no alternatives. While this might follow a local tradition, it is completely inappropriate for an international hotel to offer no other options for guests who do not eat fish.
Service Standards
The service felt like "mass processing" rather than hospitality. We were ushered into the Christmas dinner at 4:00 PM and effectively pushed out by 6:00 PM. A holiday meal should be relaxed, but this felt like an assembly line.
Management also seems completely resistant to feedback. For example, when it was pointed out that a cloth should be used to hold the bread for hygiene while cutting, they simply replaced it with a cheap piece of paper. This lack of attention to basic hygiene and guest suggestions shows a total lack of professional standards.
Final Verdict
Hotel Bukowy Park is serving an outdated establishment look that uses the holiday season to charge premium prices for a sub-par experience. From the cold spa and dark rooms to the tasteless, unappealing food and artificial drinks, nothing about this stay justified the €300 nightly rate. It is not suitable for international guests who expect quality and professional service.
In addition, I am willing to remark the will, readiness to meet, solve and overcome any inconvenience which may always appear, putting the guests' comfort at the first place.
To be fully recomended.

We totally loved the breakfasts and dinners here.
Wellness is fine, although a bigger sauna and cooling room would be appreciated. as it is in common space with the swimming pool, you have to wear swimsuit and guests often visit sauna right from the pool, this is not how it should be:)
After this year visit, I can confirm readiness and will to solve, meet and compensate any inconvenience which may always appear having the guest comfort at the first place.
Unfortunately, already the first evening we learnt that the Hotel offers dinner only until 7 PM and at latest 8 PM we had to leave the dining room. Even no bar where to stay, so no other chance than to retire to the room. This was NOT what we expected for our holidays: to spend pleasant time together in a nice Restaurant or a Bar of a 4*Hotel, of course until late evening, before to retire in our room. So on December, 31st morning, we decide to leave one day earlier than booked. I asked the reception to have a meeting with the Manager in order to ask about refunding or other compensation. No feedback. At the Silvester Night we spent the evening until 9:15 PM in your Restaurant and than where forced to move to our room. With our 2-years old son we were not in a position to move outside, and there were not other places close to the Hotel where to stay.
We booked a Hotel and not an apartment. A Hotel is a place that offers services like a Restaurant and a Bar, or at least some pleasant rooms or area where to stay, and not only until 7 or 8 PM in the evening. A 4*-Hotel the more. This is what every guest can expect from a structure like yours. On top there where several other deficiencies in your Hotel I even don’t mention. Our decision to leave one day earlier was motivated by this unsatisfying situation.
Now, after haven’t had any answer from the manager, at the departure on January 1st morning, I asked the receptionist to get refunded the last night or to compensate this amount with the extra spending of our stay. The answer was: no way. Even at my request to have another compensation, partially or by a voucher, I was rejected. Sorry, but this is not the way how to deal with (motivated) complaints! I can assure to have traveled a lot worldwide and to have stayed overnight in many Hotels, also in Poland, but such a treatment never happened to me.
BUSINESS LESSONS FOR THIS HOTEL: when a guest has a (motivated) complaint and asks for refund or compensation, you CANNOT reject it fully without ANY COMPROMISE OR ALTERNATIVE PROPOSAL - ANYTHING! Always offer your client a compensation, even if limited.
