TURIM Luxe Hotel in Lisbon

Great location, 20 min from center, around it are lots of restaurants. Staff is friendly.

Tidy hotel in a decent location in the centre of Lisbon.
Would be great to use as a based for exploring.

I was there for the half marathon so was a little out from there but bolt and Ubers were cheap enough

Regarding the hotel's facilities and services, everything was fine. The room was large, the bathroom was very nice, although there were a few design flaws, and the cleanliness was good. Breakfast was adequate, but I expected more variety in terms of hot food options. On a less positive note, regarding the management of my reservation, the following happened: I had booked a single room, but upon arrival to check in, the hotel informed me that there was a problem with the single room and that they would have to assign me another room temporarily for the first night. They assigned me a double room. So far, so good. The surprise: the double room was located on the -1 floor (basement) and barely had a window overlooking an interior courtyard, which, obviously, wasn't ideal. The assigned room was fine, no problem, but I didn't think it was right that, since it was a problem on the hotel's end, they told me I had to change rooms the next day, as my reservation was for a single room, not a double. Therefore, I had to leave the first room the following day, and until I returned to the hotel, I couldn't access my new room, having to check in again. I understand that if the hotel has a problem with a room, the guest should be assigned another room for the entire duration of their stay, and not be forced to change rooms mid-stay. Incidentally, in the first room I was assigned (a double), the shower was designed so that the doors only opened inwards, which doesn't seem logical from a safety perspective. If something were to happen to a guest in the shower, they would likely have serious difficulty moving around or getting out, since the doors only opened inwards.

It was nice, the receptionist was very friendly, and the hotel was quiet.

Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was nice but limited buffet options available. Location was very good as it is close to public transport and makes it easier to get around the city.

Very good location and overall nice place to stay if you’re exploring the city

The sanitation is very good, the service is very good, I accidentally stained the sheets and they gave me a pad to prevent the sheets from getting dirty the next day
