Our stay at Vila Gale Opera was very nice. We were very pleased with the staff at the front desk. The lobby bar staff was also very fun and interactive. Very nice and clean room, the rooftop pool was enjoyable and views were amazing. Thank you.

The plastic bed protector and blood stained pillow case were aweful. The hotel stay would have been excellant if I could have slept. The plastic on the bed was loud when I moved around, the plastic was slick and sweaty. Even a layer of inexpensive fabric would make a huge difference. Blood stained pillow case is unforgivable. Sorry to say I won't be back.

Facilities are not very clean and worn. Lack of maintenance.
The location is great. Very high price for the service provided.
Regarding the staff, only one was actually helpful and careful (check-in).
Most positive point: breakfast! It is very rich and tasty.

An excellent breakfast, attentive staff and everything very comfortable and clean.
I just have to mention the noise felt in the morning in the rooms facing the bridge. If staying more than one night I would ask to change rooms.

The hotel is located at 25th of April bridge, which has an impact in terms of noise, despite all the acoustic tricks used in the construction. The hotel is already far not young, design, and the rooms themselves are a bit "shabby", but you can live. Breakfast at C grade with a plus, you could try because the claimed 4*. In the lobby give "concerts" in the style of Opera that can not but rejoice. The second positive factor is a 10-minute walk to be in LX Factory, a place with a bunch of fast food, restaurant and discobar.
To the city centre is to take a taxi if you location is critical, think about another option.

No in room kettle, unrepaired faucet in the shower. Few outlets. Conditioners old model and are very noisy.
The hotel is located close to the railroad tracks and the bridge, which creates additional inconvenience. And cultural center of the city is far..... and so, everything is great! Breakfast and dinner is worthy of encouragement, clean and cozy.

Very good restaurant for fish, appetizer and service.
Service is friendly and international speaking is available.
The window tables with sea view are very nice and suggested if it’s not too cold outside, or check for heaters. Internal seats are available inside too.
- Cheese soft food is a great welcome and it is excellent (Simoes Ovelha) (free welcome).
- Tuna fish is very good. It consists of soft raw tuna fish with a little cooking in the border with tasteful cream surrounded by potato or vegetable (on Request) (€14,95).
- Wine glass are available

We went there for the recommendation that is was good for kids (we have three little ones). It is, in fact, a good option for families with children. They even have a small place with a tiny playground. But neither the service, nor the pizza, are all that good. Just okay.
