Olissippo Lapa Palace – The Leading Hotels of the World in Lisbon

The welcome was incredible, and the service was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and incredibly quiet. But let me tell you, the highlight of my stay was the shower water pressure. It was so strong that it could strip paint! The Uber ride to the main city of Lisbon was a quick 10 minutes and only cost about 6 euros. There’s also a gym, sauna, indoor pool, and outdoor pool (weather permitting). Overall, I highly recommend this place.

All that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Spa, was very nice. Lounge open nearly all day, with piano music starting at 7:30 pm. A restaurant that I'm told by many from outside of hotel has an excellent sapling pig, I'll try it tonight. The grounds around hotel are delightful as is the charm of the hotel itself. And, of course the staff really makes the place, always friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at the Olissippo Lapa Palace Hotel and found it to be a distinguished property that delivers on many levels.

The team at Lapa Palace truly stands out. Their communication skills are excellent, and every interaction shows a high level of professionalism. This kind of attentive service creates a memorable experience.

The dining experience is truly exceptional. The chef is clearly skilled and dedicated to excellence. When I asked for a dish not on the menu, the response was quick and courteous: “Consider it done.” The outcome was nothing short of perfect, made with high-quality ingredients that demonstrated genuine culinary expertise. You won’t be disappointed with the food here.

The hotel is situated in a location that is both quiet and convenient. It provides a peaceful escape while still being close to Lisbon’s attractions. The property is beautiful, offering breathtaking views that showcase the city’s charm. The grounds and facilities are well maintained, demonstrating the care put into preserving this historic palace.

That said, some parts of the hotel could use remodeling to meet modern standards. While the classic charm stays intact, a refresh would enhance the overall experience to match the excellent service and dining.

Best hotel ever! Bruno was a great door man. I loved everyone there. Such a beautiful place. The grounds were spectacular. The spa was clean and an absolute gem. Theresa was my esthetician and fabulous. The warming bed felt great. I wasn't able to stay in the dry sauna or steam room very long because I get too hot.
The changing rooms were very nice, the indoor pool was heated. The outdoor pool as well, but not as much, which was a perfect temperature in late September. The restaurant was Michelin quality, exceptional. I enjoyed afternoon tea, the rooms were cozy.
Flowers everywhere inside and out. The staff went out of there way to accommodate any needs we had. I certainly recommend this beautiful Lapa Palace to anyone who wants to feel special.

Quiet and comfortable, suitable for living alone.

Very good hotel, the room is spacious in Europe. Clean and tidy, with a balcony and an unbeatable view. The breakfast is rich, the western restaurant on the 4th floor is amazing, the foie gras and black pork are absolutely delicious, there are Japanese and Portuguese restaurants nearby. The location is convenient, and the taxi ride to Liberty Avenue and other attractions is less than 10 euros. The service is warm and thoughtful, everything is very satisfactory. The hotel is very artistic, and there are many murals in the corridor.

The hotel is elegant and noble with a European classical style. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the environment is elegant and pleasant.

The hotel is a bit old, the sound insulation is very poor, it is a bit remote and not very convenient.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is located on beautiful  grounds with amazing views. It’s about 15mins drive from the centre.   
The concierge was very helpful and the service was overall excellent.
