Arribas Sintra Hotel in Sintra

We had a wonderful stay at Arribas Sintra Hotel. The room was comfortable and a great value for the price, with beautiful ocean views that made waking up each morning a treat. The location is fantastic—right on the coast and a perfect base for exploring Sintra while enjoying a quieter seaside atmosphere. The breakfast was another highlight, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we’d happily return.

We'll definitely book this hotel in the future as well, and I can recommend it whole heartedly.

Location: unbeatable, all rooms face the ocean, private parking for free

Services: pool is amazing, very clean, well maintained, unfortunately closes super early (at 7.30pm), there are more than enough sun beds; gym has all the equipment you need, especially if you are into weight training, 2 saunas; reception is welcoming, beyond helpful and genuinely committed to serve you the best

Rooms: amazing views from the balcony; spacious; bed is comfortable; unfortunately very little space to store your clothes; we had two rooms, one on the highest floor and one on the lowest floor, both were nice but highly recommend the highest one; all rooms will need refurbishment soon becuase there are some wear and tear.

Our time at the Arribas Sintra Hotel was nothing short of AMAZING! The staff provided gracious and responsive care prior to our arrival, answering every question and concern to assure our needs were met so that every detail was impecably arranged in advance. Once there, the outstanding customer service continued with the friendly and attentive staff providing for our every need. The hotel with it's beautiful lobby and comfortable seating/greeting areas has breathtaking views! Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The daily included breakfast was delicious and something that we looked forward to throughout our stay. The restaurant was a high point serving delicious and upscale dinners and the VIEWS from our room were SPECTACULAR! There is nothing like relaxing from your own balcony while looking directly out to sea... PRICELESS! Having quick access to walk to and explore the nearby beach area with it's shops and restaurants was an added plus. Our sincere thanks to all at the Arribas Sintra Hotel for a wonderful time of priceless memories!

This is our fourth time staying at this hotel, and honestly, it's one of our favourite places to stay whenever we visit Portugal. It's literally right on the beach and has one of the biggest saltwater pools what more could you ask for?

Our stay included free access to the pool, and we also opted for the breakfast buffet. There are plenty of restaurants just outside the hotel within walking distance, which is very convenient.

The staff is consistently wonderful and helpful, and the views from our room are breathtaking. We love opening the doors in the morning to hear the waves and breathe in the fresh sea air.

The breakfast buffet offers a great variety of options, including breads, cheeses, pastries, meats, fruits, and more.

We will definitely continue to stay here every time we visit Portugal.

Excellent hotel with breathtaking views! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arribas Hotel. The entire staff was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The view over the Atlantic Ocean is simply stunning and truly makes this hotel special.

We didn’t even need to use the air conditioning, as the room temperature was very comfortable throughout our stay.

As small suggestions for improvement, we would appreciate more storage and shelf space in the family room and bathroom. The pillows could also be replaced, and a few additional hooks for hanging clothes and towels would be very practical. A mosquito plug-in repellent in the room would also be a welcome addition.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Overall Summary: First-class ocean view pool, second-class room facilities, third-class breakfast. Firstly, the hotel is right next to the Atlantic Ocean, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean and the fresh sea air. The pool is also huge, a saltwater pool, definitely worth experiencing. The only problem is that the Atlantic water is too cold 🥶. The room facilities are somewhat average, and the breakfast is not up to four-star hotel standards. Especially when it's crowded, the coffee machine often runs out of water and milk, making the experience less than ideal.

Sea view room, the surrounding environment is also very good, clean and tidy, the service is good. The bed is also very comfortable and the breakfast is also very rich.

The location is very beautiful! There is a beautiful beach with the ocean nearby 😍 the room has a balcony with a view of the ocean, which is nice, because our room was the cheapest on the first floor 😁
There are no shops or cheap cafes within a five-minute walk, this is a small minus for those without a car) we had to walk up the hill)
The room itself has a large comfortable bed 😍 for two people it is great, it is very pleasant to sleep 😴
The staff are very polite.
The breakfast is monotonous, judging by the previous experience of visiting other hotels, it is like that everywhere.
They gave us water only once 😐

I really want to return to this hotel with a better view)

The hotel faces the Atlantic Ocean and has an excellent location. From the balcony of the room, you can directly enjoy the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean, which is particularly pleasing to the eye. The hotel is clean, the facilities are new, the service is warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich and varied, and the parking space has a safety device. Highly recommended
