I booked this hotel for march and had to cancel due to the war in Iran and my flight tickets are cancelled.
They refuse to return my money when other hotels like the intercontinental has fully refunded as there is at least 7 days notice .
This tells about how the hotel do not have compassion for cases that are unforeseen.
Intercontinental is a much better hotel with convenient location

Location: The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach (within walking distance), and even closer to the Santa Justa Lift – just around the corner. The street is lively with many restaurants at night, and feels relatively safe. However, there's a short distance where cars aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient with luggage. Luckily, I knew this from reviews and booked the hotel shuttle, so it wasn't a problem.
Service: The front desk service was adequate, but they gave us a complimentary bottle of Rose champagne on check-in day, and three small bottles of Port the next day. Although I was too full to drink them, I was still quite happy.
Facilities: The lobby offers free coffee and sparkling water; feel free to use them if needed. Breakfast is simple and basic, but enough to fill you up – don't expect too much. The rooms are relatively small, but that's normal for Europe. The toiletries are quite good.

The service is very good, the receptionist is very patient! It is very close to many attractions and there are many famous check-in shops around it. There are snacks and drinks on the ground floor for you to take! The view outside the room is great 😊 Because it is a pedestrian street outside, there is no noisy car noise.

The room is a bit small, but the location is excellent. You can walk to the beach and the old town.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Although the view of the rooms facing the street is better than that of the courtyard, it is more noisy because the houses in this block are very old and the sound insulation is really average, but the service is quite good. There was no breakfast originally, but when I got up in the morning and said I had to buy breakfast alone, the hotel staff directly gave me a free breakfast.

Small, cozy and low key with very good and efficient wait staff. Some of the staff speak good English and are very happy to assist you with the menu.
The restaurant would be classed as basic by some people, but the food and experience are well worth it.
The menu is not comprehensive, however the food we received was of a very good standard. The prices are quite low considering the quality of the food. Wine and food for 2 people was less than €30.
