DO NOT STAY HERE. Checked in on August 2, 2025 — absolutely NO WARNING that there’s a NIGHTCLUB operating right next to the room. The walls were shaking, the furniture was literally vibrating. It was IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. This is not just “city noise” — this is a full-on disco blasting through the walls.
I paid in cash — no receipt was given until I insisted. The receipt I finally got had the wrong date.
When I complained, staff REFUSED any refund or solution. They literally said they are “not obligated” to inform guests about the club next door.
This is MISLEADING and ABUSIVE. You pay for rest — you get insomnia and a private rave through the wall.
Avoid unless you plan to dance in your bed instead of sleep.

First of, even though the hotel is on one street, we were shown our rooms at another building about 100 meters away. It was an apart hotel, so had everything from a dishwasher to a fully stocked kitchen. But it was also right next to a club, so wasn't quiet. The bottom floor rooms which there are two of, are especially loud since the door to the hotel is missing two windows.

We were directed to a serviced apartment in an adjoining street rather than the main hotel building. This actually had advantages. It was spacious & had a washing machine & microwave.

I had a great time at Hotel Porto Rico and would come again!!!Its no Luxus but Its ok for simple traveler!The staff was friendly and helpful.On Weekend its noisy outside.You need good earplugs!Everthing is clean!Short walks to the Bridge!Obrigada!

Single female guest. I went downstairs to get a coffee the first morning as a kettle etc was not included in my room. I was helped by a member of staff to get a coffee before the breakfast opened. Today I came back from my day out to find flowers in my room, plus a kettle, tea & coffee - I didn't ask for this, they just did it. Brilliant! Thank you Hotel Porto Rico, great service! 😍

The building and rooms smelled like sewage and the rooms were very noisy.

Hello! Just today,I visited this restaurant for the first time, traveling from Japan by myself, late summer vacation. 3 days in lisbon, Today, I arrived in Porto. I found this restaurant near my apartment for staying 3 days here. At just 7:00 pm, I was first person.
Dishes, service, olive, olive oil and bread were so perfect! Amazingly tasty!
