Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy in Singapore

It have been too comfortable that we have decided to extend for one more day of stay over here. As per usual, we have enjoyed ourselves, get to rest much, relax more over here. Rest is indeed never enough. Was using the swimming pool and they have ran out of towels. We waited for quite sometime for the towels to be delivered and ready. Other then that, we are really happy and contented during our extended 1 day of stay. Always nice to wake up seeing familiar surroundings around you. Always felt at home. Thank you and we will be back here once again for the adventure trip.

It was a very pleasant stay 4D3N at Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore. Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a bigger room for free by a staff member named Yoomin, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable 🤍

Location-wise, the hotel is very convenient:
• About 15 minutes from Changi Airport
• Marine Parade MRT station just 2 minutes walk
• Hawker centre around 5 minutes walk
• Parkway Parade Mall just across the road
• East Coast Park about 10 minutes walk

The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel, besides the great location, was the breakfast buffet and it did not disappoint. The breakfast spread was nice, and the restaurant staff were very friendly, one of that I remember her name is Syah, who made the breakfast experience even more pleasant.

In terms of accessibility to attractions:
• 10 minutes to Suntec City
• 20 minutes to Universal Studios Singapore
• 30 minutes to Mandai Wildlife Reserve

Overall, both the kids and I were very satisfied with our stay. Comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly , definitely a great choice when visiting Singapore

We enjoy the trip to stay for 5 days. We can enjoy to go everywhere because the location just in front of the MRT station. Local food can be search in across the hotel, Promenade Market or just go to the Parkway Parade Mall beside. Thank you Grand Mercure Roxy.

The location is super convenient, right outside the MacPherson MRT station. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness and service are top-notch. Breakfast is also very generous. Honestly, I can't find anything to complain about.

Fridge disgusting.. Wanted to keep things also can’t..
But the front desk service is professional.. Location is good..
Hope this issue can be improved.. We will be back again..

This hotel is excellent! The service is efficient; they immediately offered a room with an extra bed for our family of three. The location is superb, with popular shops, supermarkets, and great restaurants all within walking distance, plus a sea view. My child and I ate breakfast for five days straight and never got tired of it – the vegetable salad, fresh fruits, soft-boiled eggs, milk, cereal, and toast were all delicious! The water dispensers on every floor and the ice machine on the 4th floor were very convenient! The staff at the entrance were also very helpful, reminding us not to leave anything in the car. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Pros: The hotel is close to the airport. There's a Nyonya House (a popular influencer spot) on the back street, a mall to the side, and a large comprehensive shopping complex out front. This complex has a Ya Kun Kaya Toast for breakfast. Outside the mall, you'll find local food stalls and a fruit market with amazing durian and good rose apples. The food stalls offer very affordable prices as locals eat there, and the taste is great. I highly recommend the white chicken rice stall – it's delicious! The subway station right outside the hotel is also very convenient, and there are buses too. I actually regretted booking a private car; public transport would have been better. The hotel gym and pool are big pluses; they're clean and well-equipped. It's also a common overnight stay for airline crews, so you'll see many flight attendants and pilots here. However, don't expect too much from the facilities; it's a standard budget hotel, good enough for a short stay. It was perfect for our layover. If you have high standards for bathrooms and toilets, you might want to look elsewhere. The free ice machine on the fourth floor and the purified water dispenser on each floor are also nice touches!

Musty smell in room and toilet, much smaller beds as I booked… although one more bed is added finally…the whole room becomes too crowded. It’s not worthy for 5 nights stay here.

The hotel environment is really great, perfect for couples. Plus, the breakfast spread is rich and nutritious. It's definitely your top choice if you're traveling to Singapore. Hope you take my word for it, haha!

During the Chinese New Year, the hotel was beautifully decorated with kumquat trees and lion dances, creating a wonderful atmosphere! Although the room was just average, the breakfast was quite extensive. The front desk lady was exceptionally kind, beautiful, and highly professional – truly commendable! The hotel is conveniently located right above a subway station, making it super easy to get to tourist attractions. Taking a taxi from the airport, the scenery along the way was lovely. It was about 12 kilometers and cost just over 100 RMB, which was perfectly acceptable, especially compared to my previous taxi rip-off experience in Kuala Lumpur. For the return trip, the hotel staff recommended bus #36, which was just a one or two-minute walk away, and you can even use your subway card. Overall, the hotel offers pretty good value for money compared to other places!
