I was traveling on business, so the Hotel location was one of the reasons I picked Hotel Ambasador. You can also get easier to great places for dinner in a 10/15 minutes walking. The common areas cleaning may have been what I experienced as not so good, considering its a 4* Hotel. The room was good, comfortable enough and the personal was quite friendly and enjoyable.

The room was excellent. It was large and spacious, with good facilities and extremely comfortable. I particularly liked that there were balcony-doors that I could open and listen to the sounds of the city and relax. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of selection.

Hello , I spent two nights in this hotel, it was very warm, not noisy, the room was in good condition. The only negative is that the hotel is empty, I was alone and it was a little scary. And I constantly had to go down from the 8th floor back to the reception because my key card didn’t work. If you need an iron or a toothbrush with toothpaste, ask at the reception. Great value hotel centrally located in Bucharest. Maximum 15-20 min walk to the old town and nightlife areas. Clean rooms with TV, fridge, small balcony, good shower and helpful staff, supermarket across the road. Breakfast is basic but enough to keep you full until the afternoon. The room was clean and nice. Top floor recommended. The staff at the reception very friendly. Mr. Anghel is awesome and listen to our requests. Very hospitable, warm,tram stop 3min walk away to the hotel. There's a large Carrefour shopping center, McDonalds etc and taxis 5min into the heart of Bucharest . There's a lake like about 10- 15min walk. It's impressive, it's massive.

Rooms offer a poor experience but if you’re looking for a one night place to crash, this is your place. Design wise, the hotel offers room that look like rooms from communist era, with green bathrooms (weird colors), I was pretty disappointed by their customer service, it was slow! And I received a call to check out after I had already checked out from the hotel.

It's a bit far from the central station, but there are Carrefour and shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient. The room is comfortable and has air conditioning, but there were some small cockroaches when I first came in. The hotel was very good to provide me with insecticide

Nice "oldschool" hotel, with magazines and tourist flyers at the reception desk. Nice, clean comfortable room. There is no dedicated parking lots from what I could tell, or not enough, but the clerk can point you to a public parking very close by (1 minute down the road) with plenty of spaces when I arrived and free of charge. Fair VFM, place to sleep but not more. This is a bare-bones hotel, located a short walk from a shopping center and a longer walk from the train station. Checkin and staff were fine, room was a little small but clean, wifi worked fine. Had a minibar fridge and enough storage space. There was no breakfast - restaurant seems to be permanently closed. Some vending machines in the lobby.

Lovely clean modern hotel with friendly staff. Coffee shop linked to hotel is perfect with a huge range of drinks on the menu. No oat milk though! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Was upgraded to a lovely suite with living room area. Even though this hotel is titled as Unirii Square it is still a fair walk away and most of the Square was closed for renovations. Breakfast was decent and quiet. Traffic around Bucharest is very challenging including outside the hotel. Reasonably priced minibar in room.

The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and parking at the door. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. It is not luxurious but has a high cost performance. The breakfast is also good, and the menu changes a little every day.

There was no water in the room, so you had to buy it yourself. There's a gym on the second floor, so it's best to bring your own water. The water in the water dispenser wasn't replaced. There was also a power outage in the morning, which didn't come back on for two or three hours.

The rooms are quite big. It was very clean. Location is ok but far from the old town.

Perfect welcome, the room is super equipped with an electric bed and very comfortable mattresses, in the bathroom nothing is missing there are also bathrobes and slippers two bottles of water in the room, biscuits and pods for the Nespresso excellent and varied breakfast I absolutely recommend it

The hotel is conveniently located and the service is friendly. Breakfast includes eggs, bread, dairy products, freshly squeezed juice, fresh fruit, various nuts, and other healthy ingredients – truly commendable!

A modern, well appointed room, and responsive staff. Near central location made sight-seeing easy. A good range of self serve breakfast options made a great start to the day. And the tour options offered were excellent.

The room was spacious and clean. I also liked that the toilet and shower were separate. The breakfast was a buffet with a good variety and taste!

Was dreading going here from the reviews I’d read but honestly had a lovely stay. We had the deluxe suit and thought it was lovely the staff went above and beyond with everything. For what I paid and considering it’s România I really believe the hotel was worth the money only thing is I’d recommend they did English food as an option especially on breakfast.

It is not a 4 star that's clear ! Spa they said is under maintenance..i dont rhink but anyway ...breakfast a la carte ...the restaurant is only open for breakfast not other moment in the day . Is not like the phoenicia quality that we expected. The heating sistem does nor work in some rooms we had to change the room and finally still used an electric heater ( that also affecter the electricity )

No hot, but warm water & a very strong smell of chemical (cleaning) products that made me cough constantly. Thick carpet & run down decor.

The facilities are a bit outdated, but the location is good; it's just so-so.

Located in the old town, the hotel is quite old. Be aware that you need to buy your own water daily, as they only provide water for one day regardless of your stay. Breakfast is simple. It's not good value for money, and the rooms are indeed very old. The staff are quite nice.

I booked this hotel as it’s in a great location and only 10 minutes walk from where I needed to get picked up for a day tour. Check in was easy, even though I had to wait a while as a big group arrived just before I did and there was only one receptionist working. Our only complaint is the slamming of doors and no soundproofing of rooms (there were twins in the next room that screamed nonstop). There are gaps under the door so you do hear everything.

The management team made my stay easy and convenient. This hotel/apartment is in one of the BEST parts of Bucharest, lots of great food and shopping nearby. The lobby looked great.. And the service was awesome! From front desk to the kitchen staff! The room was very small and the 3 single beds made it smaller.. The sockets ware blocked by the beds.. The location near the train station is great, barely 5 minutes from the platforms. Due to the lack of air conditioning, the rooms are incredibly warm. I therefore advise against booking this hotel when it's below 25°C. As soon as the window is open, you can hear the noise from the railway yard. The price is undoubtedly great, but they should at least have fans in the rooms!

The location was convenient as it was close to the station. The cleaning was not good and I was not sure if the towels were changed. The floor, which was clean, was dirty after the cleaning.

The nearest station is Bucharest North Station, which is one train ride away from Henri Coanda Airport. It's about a 5-minute walk. The area around the station has a bad vibe, but the hotel was fine. The hallways were generally dark because the lights were turned on by motion sensors. There was a restaurant in the basement of the hotel, which was open and had good service.

The door doesn't lock and I feel unsafe

I am always dubious about city centre hotels, but this one exceeded expectations. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close enough to main roads. There are shops, cafes and parks nearby, and frequent buses towards the old town if you don't want to use Uber or Bolt. I recently stayed at Johann Strauss Hotel, New and modern hotel. Clean and the minimalistic architecture suites me. Conveniently situated near top bars and restaurants, o recommend for anyone traveling. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive, comfortable rooms and spacious,desk, WiFi in all hotels area.

The breakfast was good. There was a variety that allowed one to eat healthy. The reception was excellent and they accommodated our needs. They were supportive and I liked the ability to connect to the hotel through WhatsApp, which facilitated calling taxis.

The rooms were of good standard. However the breakfast was not particularly good, so we dicided not to eat breakfast at the hotel. Also the reception decided to call our room at 1 in the morning waking both of us up, and had me come down to the reception to pay for the stay. I asked if I couldn’t pay when we checked out the next morning, but for some reason that wasn’t possible.

Hotel is good. The area looked a bit gloomy at night but I never saw anything or anyone to make me feel unsafe. I used a small cafe300m up the street for breakfast & there are some excellent restaurants within 1km. Staff spoke good English & were very helpfull. Airport bus, tourist information & metro close by.

The restaraunt is located vis-a-vis of Baneasa Shopping Centre and near Decatlon and it is nicely set inside the woods. It is a cool and quiet place being a perfect choice for the summer evenings. Food was delicious. I had a Beef Burger Yummy which was one of the yummiest I have ever had. Staff was very friendly. I am looking forward to coming again to this restaurant.

The location is wonderful accompanied by good music. Also recommended for couples with children, the terrace being spacious and with lots of greenery. The staff is customer oriented, thoughtful and asks for feedback. The food is very good and the service is impeccable.

The hotel was very warm and clean. As an inconvenience, I can note that it was divided into two buildings and the restaurant was in the third. The breakfast was poor in terms of food. Another thing that impressed every member of our company (6 people) was that the mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable.
