I've stayed here a few times and am quite familiar with the area, so it's very convenient. It's near the Russian Postal Savings Bank, the metro, and restaurants—everything you need is right there. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the heating is quite good. Getting around is convenient, although the facilities are a bit old. The breakfast selection is quite substantial.
Transportation is quite convenient, about a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive. The overall sanitation is quite clean. The facilities are a bit dated. It's a 25-30 minute walk to Red Square.
Service: The service is very poor. The arrogance of the Russians is fully demonstrated at the front desk.

The hotel's location is close to shops and restaurants, but not close to Red Square. The hotel is very quiet, and there is an Arab person named Amin who is very helpful and helps us as much as possible. There is also a currency exchange office inside the hotel.

What didn’t I like? This hotel used to be the intercontinental and the high standards have transcended to the Continental! Incredible room with a wonderful view. My headphones went missing from the room. After many calls, staff finally found them — with no explanation and no apology. Housekeeping was also subpar: dirty cups and used towels were often left behind after cleaning. For a 5-star hotel, this lack of accountability and attention to detail is unacceptable. My friends and I stayed at this hotel in May. We were pleasantly surprised: the location was excellent, the price was good, and the room was clean and tidy! The hotel location is great and the stuff are nice and English Spoker. But there was very bad smell at the corridor ,the room was very small I was staying for 2 night and at the last day when I was spouse to check out there was no hot water at the shower. I was not offered any compensation, but that's probably the way things are in Eastern Europe.
It was a very nice hotel, very good location for the price. Clean rooms and warm, it also had a heater just in case. For a 2 star hotel it was the best I have ever stayed. The service was unacceptable bad. First they said they didn't accommodate foreigners and then there were problems with the payment. Ostrovok managed to sort out the problems with the hotel but it took time and left a bad taste in the mouth.

The hostel is normal, the tarifs ar cheap around 5eur per night so only 150eur a month. However I help Daria for cleaning !!!! The hotel must HIRE A CLEANER to clean beds regularly. If Daria read this please do this. However you can stay in this hotel, it is very good located and they have 24h opening, however in the night Daria doesn't work.
Reception was screaming, not try to help or open entrance door when I called. I waited 40 minutes from morning. In toilet was too dirty not clean. I think air conditioning too cold and blanket too old, dirty.
very nice hostel, Daria the receptionist is a nice girl, just don't check-in before 14h00 because she doesn't work. you can access the hostel with a magnetic bip, the hostel is good located that is why I choose this place.
The location of the hostel is very superior. It is a 1-minute walk from Maya subway station and only 2 minutes from the bus station.
