Once again, we returned to Las Islas Boutique Hotel which we call our Happy Place. We have been coming here on and off for 12 years and it just seems to get better every time. Omar, Muna and Sara run a beautiful place, and it has the best breakfast and the most beautifully served in all Andalucia. Thank you for the warm welcome back, the new staff Pakie and Etam add to the friendly and helpful atmosphere. The gardens, are even more beautidul since last time, tended to expertly by Salvador. All those years ago we arrived as guests and left as friends. We hope once again we will return to our Happy Place.

We stayed for 5 nights and wished we’d booked for longer….the welcome and care we experienced during our stay from Omar, his wife Muna and all the staff was exceptional. The hotel is tranquil, set in beautiful gardens and an excellent place to spend time to unwind in. We ate every day at the restaurant as the food was of exceptional quality. We very much look forward to returning to this beautiful place….it truly is heavenly.

Las Islas feels more like a secret members-only retreat than a hotel. Nestled in lush gardens with a beautiful saltwater pool and shaded eating areas. The family run business with their staff have poured their heart and soul into it and make you feel right at home. A wonderful hidden gem that offers tranquility in a private oasis with excellent food and service. It’s a 15 minute walk to the beach or 10 minutes to the efficient train station service where you can quickly explore towns along the coast up to Malaga on day trips. You can walk back but it’s a little steep and tiring in the heat but taxis are also reasonable but not Uber.

Felt like we had found a secret place, the hotel has 11 rooms and we stayed in the suite, Omar the owner has put his heart into the hotel especially the suite, the hotel and pool is immaculate, the breakfast is so fresh and amazing, normally would eat out every night but ate there 3 times, cannot find one fault, 10 minute steep walk down to the beach, didn’t want to do the walk back up in the heat so got a taxi that I think was around 4€, want to recommend as amazing, so chilled and relaxing but don’t want to recommend as don’t want it not to have availability when we want to go back

We've just returned from our short (three night) stay at the Boutique Hotel Las Islas, and already we want to return. I have never experienced such a warm welcome at a hotel before, we all felt relaxed straight away with the calming atmosphere, and the tranquil environment. Omar was the kindest, very hard-working host, and nothing was too much trouble for him. The whole team were very friendly and again, so hardworking. The hotel itself is set up slightly away from the beach, but not a long walk away. The views from the restaurants are stunning, and the gardens are so pretty. The rooms were decorated nicely, they were clean and tidy, with good air con, and a balcony. We were lucky enough to have a great view over the gardens, which was lovely to sit out on in the evenings with a cold glass of something. Breakfast was delicious, fresh juice, coffee (or tea), fruits, pastries and anything you want cooked fresh from the menu. We dined at the hotel for most of our stay, and the Lebanese food was very fresh, tasty and well presented. Served alongside some really great wines, both Spanish and from Lebanon. The poolside was peaceful and relaxing, with complimentary cold water and fresh towels provided. My partner and I both stay at hotels frequently, and this one neither of us could fault. We thoroughly enjoyed our break away, and this hotel and the fab hosts/staff made it for us. We will be returning!

We had a fantastic week staying at Las Islas in June. This is a little bit of paradise. 20 minute car journey from the airport which is an added bonus. We arrived around 10 pm and was greeted by Sara who was just lovely and welcoming, although it was late we were offered food. They offer Lebanese food which we have never tried and I am terrible at trying new food but can honestly say I enjoyed every meal we had there. Breakfast was delicious, again a continental breakfast is not normally what we would have so it made a lovely change. always lovely bread, pancakes, fruit , yogurt and the best jams you will ever have every morning. Normally I enjoy lying by the side of the pool / beach however with the hotel being in such a great location , walking down to the train station encouraged us to visit other places, using the train was simple .40 mins to Malaga city , or 5 mins to Fuengirola Benalmadena is around the same time as well as Miia's which was my favourite once we got off train, we jumped in a taxi to Miia's Pueblo (old Town) cost around 15 euros . Beautiful white buildings, lovely unique shops, cafes and restaurants. lovely way to spend a day! Or you can stay close by at Torre Blanca beach front which is around a 10 min down hill walk from hotel. The hill is quite steep the first day it nearly finished us off walking back up in the heat but by the end of the week we were up and down in no time at all , if we had shopping we would get a taxi which cost around 6 euros. Although we never spent all day by the side of the pool at the hotel, it is just beautiful , relaxing and a wee sun trap. The room we had was lovely , everything you needed. fridge with complimentary items was a lovely touch. the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels . All the staff really never catered for all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble, but it was Sara who really blew us away, she really knows her stuff and was so very helpful. she never stopped. I kept meaning to ask how many languages she knew because she seemed fluent in every language we heard when she would be talking to other guests. We had a great holiday and will definitely be back.

Now on the airport and on our way back to Holland. We look back on a great experience. Thanks Sarah and the rest of the team for taking care of us in the way you did. Really a good place to escape the hectic daily life. Enjoyed the Libanese kitchen and we tried as much different recipes during the days we ate at the restaurant. Enjoyed every minute of it.

This hotel is so good that at first I thought I want to keep it to myself, I can only say this hotel was fantastic. The staff, the layout, the room, the whole thing was an absolute pleasure, we will definitely be back again and again it was without doubt the best place I’ve stayed in around the south of Spain and we travel 5/6 times a year, I never write reviews very often, my wife always does! But this hotel deserves it, it was just what the doctor ordered. The water by the pool, the towels, the breakfast was all so well done, everything added a layer that made the stay better and better. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

We visited the restaurant as a large party of 14 for food during our recent holiday. The hotel setting is lovely and a great ambiance. Kareem and the staff were lovely, very welcoming. He was happy to discuss the menu options and provide us with some recommend dishes. The food was absolutely spot on and they were more than happy to adapt meals for the children. Definitely one of the best meals of our holiday. Diolch yn fawr. Thank you. Highly recommend.

Amazing location. This hotel is the place to go. Great staff. New waitress is unbelievable. So helpful Rooms are very nice. But please improve your air conditioning. 40C and air con is poor Attended the dinner event on Saturday night. Great crowd of people. But please don’t let guests smoke whilst others are eating. See you soon Las Islas
