The service is good and the breakfast is also excellent. But the hotel charges the client car parking fee of Euro 18

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We especially want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Alvaro Alba at the front desk.

The room offered a stunning view, and the breakfast was delicious, featuring a wide variety of options. We will definitely return during our next visit!

We had booked the Carmen hotel but had difficulties getting access to the hotel due road restrictions and police not allowing us access to the road in which the hotel was in. We came across The Congress Hotel, where the staff were very helpful in moving our booking from the Barcelo Carmen to the Congress with ease. I would like to say a big thank you to the reception staff who were always smiling and willing to help. The congress hotel was more accessible if arriving by car .

The hotel rooms on higher floors had decent views, and the breakfast was plentiful. However, the receptionist, a young woman, was extremely inexperienced and rude. She didn't greet or say goodbye, and offered no explanation whatsoever. She was as cold and unfriendly as a government employee. I suggest they improve their staff training, since the receptionist is the first person guests encounter upon entering the hotel.

We came here for New year's eve 2025 and had a wonderful stay . . this is our 2nd time at a Barcelo hotel and we think we are becoming loyal to them as we didn't know about this brand / chain before . . Also a big mention to the reception staff Maria and definitely also the two gentlemen whose names I forgot but who helped us so much with ideas for where to go on New year's eve , where to eat and booking taxis . . really nice staff and a credit to the hotels excellent standard of service ❤️

We stayed for 1 night before going skiing at Sierra Nevada. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant (with 2 kids) the Paella was amazing! The waiters Juan Carlos, Ilyas and Patri were so lovely and attentive.We would defo come back!

The parking lot is large, and the breakfast selection is excellent. It's a bit far from the old town; it's a 20-minute walk to the cathedral. A car is required to get to Al-Bukhari Palace.

A lovely hotel with polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a huge array of all kinds of food catering for all nationalities and preferences.
The pool is small but nice to cool off in after a day walking the city.
It’s about a fifteen minute walk to the main centre with all the bars and restaurants and a little more to Alhambra. We were fine, we like walking but if you have mobility issues that’s something to consider, however taxis and underground are all convenient.
