Fantastic location and great value for money. The hotel's interior design is beautiful, and the rooftop terrace is an absolute gem, offering amazing skyline views of Granada's main attractions. Highly recommended! I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit. It's less than 100 meters from City Hall, making it super convenient for all the Holy Cross festivities!

We loved our stay at the Sercotel Palacio de los Gamboa in Granada and would highly recommend it to other travelers. We had 2 single beds (NOT pushed together, as we often get in Europe). They were very comfortable and we slept well. Our room overlooked a quiet courtyard. Breakfast was a nice buffet-style breakfast, served in the restaurant attached to the hotel.
The staff members were very kind and helpful. The premises are very clean, and the lobby is charming.
It’s in a perfect location to walk to most of the sights and there are many great places for drinks, tapas and dining. We did not walk to the Alhambra as it is uphill and it was rainy. We had an early time slot, too, but it’s doable if you feel energetic and the weather is kind.
MAKE SURE that your taxi driver follows the hotel’s detailed directions and drops you off right at the front door. Ours dropped us off too early. We’d have walked around for quite a while had he not double-checked and come back to find us immediately.
Wonderful stay overall! We'd book here again without hesitation.

This hotel in Granada is truly charming and rustic. Tucked away in a narrow alley, walking on the cobblestone streets felt like stepping back into medieval Spain. The chandeliers in the lobby, the antique cabinets, and the paintings on the walls all whispered tales of times gone by. The hotel's ambiance gave us a taste of old-world European elegance. The room size was perfectly adequate; we could easily open two suitcases. The small balcony with its floor-to-ceiling window allowed the sunlight to stream in, and the white curtains gently swayed in the breeze, adding a touch of sophistication. Although the bathroom had a bathtub and the facilities felt a bit dated, experiencing such a distinctly European hotel made these minor imperfections fade into the background. Being close to the street, there could be some noise, but earplugs easily solved that. The only thing I found a bit unusual was that the duvet insert was placed between two sheets. I heard many hotels in Europe do this; I even encountered this bedding style in a 5-star hotel in Barcelona. Despite these small quirks, I still fondly remember this historic hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk everywhere. However, the drive in involves a very narrow road. Parking is available at the hotel, but the soundproofing is terrible – you can clearly hear both the street and the next room.

This hotel has a lot of history and I really enjoyed my stay. Location is excellent—very close to the C50 and C52 lines, and within easy walking distance to restaurants. It’s right next to the Palace of Seville and not far from the Seville Cathedral either.

The breakfast was good, and overall I was quite satisfied with my stay.

My only small issue was that the towels looked and felt quite old and worn out. They seemed a bit unclean and could really do with being replaced.

Nice hotel in the old centre of Granada. We have been there several times now and will certainly come back. Some of the rooms are not very big and if you have a room on the outside of the hotel you can have some noise from outside. Rooms that look on the inner courtyard are very quiet. The shower was great. Breakfast was a small buffet with enough choice, very nice. There is parking under the hotel, costs about 20 euros a night (I don't remember the exact amount), however you cannot reserve it. But we had a place every time we came here. The drive to the hotel leads you through some very narrow streets, this could be an issue for big cars.
The location is great, from the hotel you can walk to Granada's many highlights.

The hotel was quite clean, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything: people talking outside, chairs being moved in other rooms, and even the staff cleaning with the vacuum. Unless you're absolutely exhausted, it's really hard to sleep through the noise. Also, I noticed tea bags and toothbrushes on the housekeeping cart before check-out, but they weren't in my room. It took several calls to the front desk before anyone finally picked up.

It's conveniently located downtown, making it easy to get around, and the small balcony was lovely. The breakfast was delicious, and Roberto, the front desk manager, was friendly. I had a comfortable stay.
