Soho Boutique Los Naranjos in Malaga

I liked the location: in a more quiet, residential neighborhood but close enough to Malaga’s historical center via an easy 15 minute walk. Malaga’s hotels are getting extremely pricey, but I scored a good deal at this one; even though the room is small, it is perfectly serviceable and good value for the price. Its Reception staff is friendly, helpful, and spoke English. The only thing here that I dislike is the bedroom’s long, flat pillow…not ergonomic at all and gave me a stiff neck.

I just love this little gem of a hotel, love the location and the staff is super friendly, feels like home. Bus stop right outside. Breakfast is good but breakfast room really dull. Rooms are small but you have everything you need and it is great if you have a balcony. The area is very quiet.

This is a special little gem. Great location and the staff were amazing. I had a room with a view of the ocean and it was breathtaking. The room was nice, the bed was a little hard, but still comfortable. I would definitely return to this location again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Soho Boutique Los Naranjos. The location is excellent, close to the beach and within walking distance from the city center. The staff was kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. A cozy hotel with a good atmosphere – perfect for a few days in Málaga. I would definitely return!

I would return to this hotel for the fantastic taxi/ private minibus service alone – it is such a joy not to have to drag bags on and off a bus in to town and then get another bus (that’s always full of others with bags going to the same place) to the airport. If you’re staying in Soho Las Vegas across the road, you’re even luckier as the bus goes from the main door, but Soho Los Naranjos is only a minute or two away, and the service is the same: €10 direct to the airport, with a friendly and charming bus driver in a spotlessly clean minibus. The receptionist was also lovely and very helpful, the reception area cool and clean and with plenty of seats. My room was clean, with a balcony and a small table outside. There was plenty of room in the shower, though I’d’ve liked a ledge for me to put my facecloth and personal shampoo on, and the soap in the dispenser smelled delicious. The only one thing I didn’t like was the bed. I know it’s a single bed, for a single person, and it’s really great that hotels have single rooms now, but the bed wasn’t really comfortable and I did find it rather small. There is a lot of traffic on the road outside, but I only heard it when I was sitting on my balcony – and I love Paseo de Sancha and I especially love the restaurants on the far side of the road. I will definitely be back in this hotel, I love it.
