Hotel Goartín in Malaga

Close to a shopping mall and some eateries
Close to Malaga Mezqita
Short taxi ride or longer walk (40 mins) to AlCazbah
People at the reception were very friendly and helpful / caring.

The hotel is nice in every way, but it's a bit far from the center. If you don't mind that the bus stops are nearby, you can stay there.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and Tanuki Supermarket is very close by. The room is small.

The receptionist gave us a very good recommendation.

Stayed in Hotel Goartín on 12 May. Arrived early but this was no problem, room was ready and we could occupy it straightaway. Lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Room & bathroom very clean, bed comfy. Short walk from station, safe neighbourhood and not noisy at night. Would definitely recommend- we will stay here again when we are in Malaga.

Very cozy place near the train station, perfectly located next to the Lidl and some restaurants and hairdressers. It’s a quiet part of town but not too far from the city center and the party areas. The rooms have a minimal amenity and is more intended as a place you go to at the end of a long day of adventuring in Malaga to enjoy a hot shower with great water pressure and some nice airconditioning to fall asleep in. The beds are firm and soft, the pillow great and the windows easy to open and close. It feels very homey; like you’re staying in the extra room of your friend’s great aunt’s house for a weekend. The staff was super friendly and attentive to my request for an extra tower and no room keeping.

There’s a code to get into the lobby to keep out strangers and 24/7 person there to accept people inside who don’t have the code or are checking in. There’s a microwave in the lobby together with a few snacks and drinks in the fridge you can buy if the Lidl is closed, very nice that you don’t have to take that stuff up to your room. Super cozy, would come back again to this hotel if in Malaga in the future

I had the pleasure to stay in this wonderful hotel for almost 2 months together with my partner. Because of personal circumstances we had to book one week or 8 days at a time and each time the staff was extremely professional, helpful and ALWAYS with a smile.

I was beyond impressed by how clean the place is, the staff comes daily and does a detailed cleaning.

I love the diversity of rooms they provide ( we stayed in this time at all floors and room types ) and felt in love with the ones providing a terrase! Super recommend, it’s worth it!

The hotel has really nice amenities and little touched like a basic coffee machine ( comes in handy if you need one during the night ).

Beyond amazed how kind and respectful everyone was, now with only 2 days before departing i feel like leaving from friends - never thought i would say this about a hotel but here we are ❤️
