Fabulous hotel in the Soho area of Malaga. Great location! Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was limited but absolutely adequate, with enough variation. Lovely rooftop terrace! Would not hesitate to recommend and if ever we decide to arrange a long weekend in Malaga again, it will definitely be at the Mariposa Hotel!

This a an absolute gem of a hotel. Very central to everything. 5 mins walk to see the Christmas lights, the centre, the port etc.
Breakfast is a bit limited but good. Rooftop Bar is lovely. Great place to stay.

We spent four nights here in early November. The location is excellent, in the centre of Malaga on a guiet street. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. All of the hotel is clean with a pleasant smell. And the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with great recommendations for nearby cafes and restaurants.

The hotel is in a good location close to old town and the beach. Very walkable which we loved but slightly outside the busy hubbub. The decor of the main area is nice and they even have a small gym (not a lot in there and it is really small but enough to get a workout in) and rooftop bar that is super cute. Be prepared to be patient after ordering. The bartender always seems busy. The breakfast was good, but I’m not lucky as long as they have eggs, and they did. Also, toast, cereal, yogurt, meat, tomatoes, a coffee machine and other items. My only concern was the carpet in our room. It looked very dirty like it needed to be replaced. The other amenities in the room were great. Coffee machine, double sinks, window that opened, air-con. But I wore slippers. Which they provided. Which I liked. Staff was great. All of them.

Just back from here after a week in this lovely hotel near the port and the historic centre. Superb location on a busy, but quiet, pedestrianised street. Spacious room with air con with large bathroom and huge comfortable bed. Room cleaned daily, with towels changed. Excellent breakfast but more hot choices during the week could have been provide rather than just bacon, sausages and eggs. Reception very friendly and very helpful when due to a flight cancellation they accommodated us for an extra night after a lot of frantic negotiation with our holiday company.
Cannot fault this hotel at all and would highly recommend it.

Overall is a good hotel. I think it is more like a 4.5.star hotel. It is good place to stay.

Wonderful flat bread with hummus and lamb koftas! On the host's advice we had two delicious main courses; one main course would probably have been enough for us as a couple in our late 50s early 60s but I had a nice package to take home :-)
The host was attentive and after I asked about the music that was playing, he brought me all of his CDs of traditional Andalusian music as performed throughout the maghreb. I learned a lot and I appreciated his teaching me.

Small but charming restaurant in the heart of SOHO Malaga. If you fancy some high quality Arab food this is the place to spend your money. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. The hummus was one of the best I ever had, and the lamb tagine, something to die for. I definitely recommend it. Friendly and nice service.
