Having our own balcony with a stunning view over Málaga was a real treat. We enjoyed relaxing in the bar with delicious food and drinks, and took a lovely walk down to the old town and back
The scenery is stunning! It's like an old 5 star hotel which is very suitable for staycation. The room inside is a bit old but it's acceptable. The hotel is located in the top of a hill
The buffet breakfasts and lunches served from the bar were tasty and varied in choices and options. Views of Malaga from the terrace are the best! Would highly recommend this hotel!
We had superior room - very spacious. Water left as welcome only on the first day! would expect it everyday with this class of Hotel. We had a nice balcony overlooking the port
It's the perfect hotel for viewing Malaga's beaches and city center. The nighttime view of Malaga is so spectacular you'll want to spend the night admiring it from the terrace
It's really convenient for the castle and alcazaba and a pleasant walk down the pedestrian path to town (take a taxi back up!). We had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant too

The only slight negative was that the room was at the back with a central courtyard outside the window hence no view to speak of (but if you don’t spend a lot of time in the room it doesn’t matter)
The dining room is very pleasant but there is no bar in the hotel to get coffee or drinks in the foyer area. Decor and furnishings are tasteful and fresh. Friendly attentive staff throughout
The staff was very helpful and promptly solved our problem with our booking which did appear in their agoda system. Wi-Fi connectivity was also good. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Really nice hotel recently refurbished to a good standard. Ten minutes stroll to the historic centre
The bedroom is spacious and comfortable with plenty of electrical sockets and USB points (a lot better than some 4* contenders) and excellent lighting. Bathroom and shower very well appointed
Handy spanish hotel in Malaga town near everything, rooms a tad bit small for 2 , toilets grand and breakfast good. Train station opposite 3 min walk. Train runs all day from airport (30 mins) up and down coast

Everthing was nice, except the noise during nights. The city hall cleans ths streets every night around 3am with some loud machines.
Found it well situated for city sights, it was 15 min walk to the marina. I definitely recommend the hotel but would like to point out this is in no way an endorsement of the artwork choices?
Welcoming staff, clean room and central location made my stay a lot more enjoyable. Thank you
The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Housekeeping kept the room spotless. The room was a little small but had everything I needed. The hotel is very conveniently located in the old section
Very good 🙂 just the eggs 🥚 could had been improved with some chorizo or something hehehe but if not perfect
Excellent location, clean, modern rooms, lovely roof terrace & helpful staff.

The room, the facilities, the breakfast. The only detail is that Wi-Fi did not fully reach my room. I had to go to the corridor sometimes. Besides that, it was excellent
The property has enough amenities for a comfortable stay, including a lovely garden to enjoy, a reading room, a dining room, laundry and Zoom services, and lockers for luggage storage
Very nice people and competitive price. It's a good place to rest in Malaga. Close to the city center. Spanish omelet 50€ mejor invertidos in my life vert recommended
Everyone is welcome It was a very pleasant experience, with the staff super dedicated to answering any questions
I had a pleasant stay here. The staff was nice, bed was comfortable and food was pretty good.
Highly recommended for solo travelers, travelers with children, couples, and students

But it doesn’t bother us, the location is perfect if you want peace, very nice staff, good cleaning and even that it’s old, it’s still in a good condition, from our experience in there biggest room with king size bed and tower
In my opinion people there gives it only one or two stars, they should be better prepared or have a better look at what they’re booking, compared to Spanish standard, it’s not bad at all this hotel, you get a good service
Peace and quiet. Incredible drive through the hills with spectacular views. The hotel is tucked away with many walks. We only stayed 1 night on our road trip and loved the meal, booze, views, waking to the dawn chorus.
Everyone was warmly welcoming, and the atmosphere was truly inviting. The lady at the reception had a warm, heart-melting smile and was exceptionally polite and friendly, making us feel right at home
Loved this hotel, will definitely stay here again. We came to Málaga to see the Christmas lights, so only stayed a couple of nights, I don't like busy cities so thought this hotel looked ideal
The environment was peaceful and quiet, nestled in the heart of the mountains—perfect for anyone seeking relaxation and an escape from the city's noise

We loved our stay! Extremely friendly staff, clean, modern room and a great roof with pool.Fantastic location, just 05 minutes from the Picasso Museum and all other main tourist attractions!
Great, friendly and attentive staff! Breakfast is very good variety, fresh and tasty! Modern comfortable room! Location - cannot ask for a better one, you are close to all major important central spots! The only thing as a minus would be that our room's bathroom ventilation wasn't working
24 hours free coffee in the lounge, and free mini bar in the room refreshed daily. My room overlooked the street (most do not) and although it is quite busy with traffic the double glazing stops most of the noise
Great Hotel! Clean Rooms! A bit noisy when you have a room on the street side. Every day free drinks in de minibar, including beer. Every day at breakfast fresh orange juice and avocado and tomatos
The hotel is new era feeling, modern and natural enterior. The employes is very friendly and kindly. The breakfast also very good quallity. You can drink from mini bar for FREE! Location also good
Excellent location for a citytrip or holiday in Malaga. Super friendly staff, they are soooo helpful. There is coffee and tea all day long. Our room was not so large but well organised and clean

It's okay but if you're looking to taste fine Spanish cuisine, you are best going elsewhere. A good selection of soft drinks, hot drinks and alcohol
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, only thing which would have improved it would have been if the weather had been warmer so we could sit outside
This nice and quiet hotel is hidden in a beautiful neighborhood close to the airport. There is a bus that takes you to Malaga just a short walk from the hotel. Lovely room that seems fairly new
Pool and Jacuzzi just a few steps from the room
Everything you ever need is in your room, but I recommend you enjoy the outside (even in winter seasons)- there is a big pool, a jazuzzi and plenty of seating
They do offer a small menu for nibbles, like tapas, pizza etc that you can order up to 10 PM. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating- there is always someone at the reception area ready to greet you

It was an amazing stay and the workers were so kind and helpful and the location is perfect next to a bus station that takes you to the city center in a round 20 min and there are alot of cool beachs in less than 10 minutes of walking
I had a wonderful few days in this marvelous little hotel! Clean, very well located in a quiet area close to the sea, and easily accessible by public transport to get to the city center or other towns in southern Spain
Great for the price This is a great option near Malaga. There is absolutely nothing near by and there is no place for parking a car securely. Malaga is about 20 mins away and the bus service is good
Location, room and value for money all excellent. Check in friendly, fast and efficient with all essential information given. Room clean, comfortable bed, bathroom clean and good shower
This is an economic option with a great price/value ratio. You get a decent, clean place to stay for a great price

Staff very helpful and professional. Hotel in a great location. Quiet area at night. Single room but quite spacious. Cons: Bed okay but not overly comfortable. Towels were old, thin and scratchy.
The room was clean and compact, all staff friendly and helpful. The only downside was the window blind could not be opened fully, and I missed fresh air. however the price , location and staff more than made up for it
The bathroom doesn’t have a curtain. It is a good hygiene but splashing the floor with water is inevitable. The staff is very hospitable and have day and night presence. All in all not all and not less what I expected
Breakfast was not included but for the price it was economical and was ok. The room was Ok with a single bed a little bit pricey but the location is very central it couldn’t have been more central
Good location The location of this hotel is excellent. Really good for the old town and the airport bus. was clean the shower was good. the bed was ok the pillow was as flat as a cream cracker
The service from the breakfast staff was good. it's cheap and mildly cheerful. Would stay again but would see if there was anything else a bit better before choosing

The staff were really nice and welcoming, and our room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We arrived late at night, but they were very accommodating and made sure we knew exactly how to get into the property
Hotel is situated around 4-5km from town centre. You can walk around sea front and enjoy beautiful wievs or you can take bus. The bus stop is 5 min walk from hotel. The room was nice, quiet and clean
This hotel is in a quiet suburb just outside Malaga, which was perfect for a relaxing stay. It’s small and cozy, so it never felt crowded like some of the bigger hotels in the city
Public transport is also not a problem as there is a but stop for Lines 3, 8, 11, & 34 running. Also, if you need to send mail there is a postal box near as well
I was happy for fridge so I could have bought some food. The only problem was that check-in time was only till 4pm and receptionist didn't speak English at all
Overall, we had a great experience and really appreciated the combination of a peaceful location, friendly staff, and clean facilities. We’ll definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Malaga!

Had a 2 night stay here, rooms are clean & spacious, sea view, staff friendly, arrived at 11am could leave our luggage until we could check in @ 2, location was very good, a 20 minute walk to the centre of Malaga The only little complaint we have towels were very thin, could do with getting better quality Thank you for our stay
Spent a few days in Malaga to celebrate my partners birthday - hotel is a great location , opposite the beach and easy walk into centre - great neighbourhood with lovely local cafes and restaurants too Our room was upgraded to seaview and would definitely return
Our twin room was very spacious and bright with great balcony with sea view. Breakfast was great with lots of choice from hot to continental overlooking the outside pool area. We would definitely stay here again
The pool area is small but it was never an issue if you wanted a sun bed, maybe different in peak season though
Amazing experience in every regard Soho Botique hotel Las Vegas facing Mediterranean just across the corniche. Perfect for walking, jogging, workout in sun & fresh air all day. Friendly courteous staff, clean all over

Room was huge, beds comfortable, iron available, fridge. Very impressive bathroom with 2 sinks, separate toilet and shower. The pool is very small, but it serves its purpose to cool down
Perfect location, clean rooms and design, walkable to various areas, and great view of Calle Larios from the rooms and bar. Breakfast was very good and the staff around the hotel were very friendly and helpful
Angel, the bartender, was great
Excellent location ! Helpful staff, clean and a good choice for breakfast. Good value for the price. I would certainly recommend it .
A fabulous hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious with great views over the harbour and town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for money although we didn’t have breakfast as that seemed expensive

During my first stay, the room had a high horizontal window with no real view at all. On my second stay, I was given a connecting room, which was even noisier due to both the connecting door and the hallway door
More importantly, there seems to be little interest in guest feedback or satisfaction, as if repeat customers are not a priority. Overall, the room prices are far too high for the quality provided
Although they appear to have been renovated, the materials used are of very low quality. Water leaked out of the shower and flooded the bathroom floor, and there were persistent bad odors
The TV channel selection was very poor, and the connection quality was also unreliable. As for the staff, they tend to be overly familiar, which can feel unprofessional
The quieter rooms are extremely small and poorly arranged, with oversized furniture that makes them feel even more cramped. The bathrooms are in very poor condition
I chose Santa Catalina Málaga expecting a hotel that would live up to its five-star rating. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that standard

We spent the whole afternoon searching for the castle and cathedral and finally realised it was ony down the road!! Definitely coming back, we missed a lot due to the weather not being too good at the time, but was expected
The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by plenty of local eateries and within easy walking distance of key attractions. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was very cosy, clean, and comfortable
Stayed for three nights over a long weekend and highly recommended. Great location, warm welcome and all you need for a city break. Bedroom clean, adequate and comfortable
Our stay at Malaga Boutique Hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The reception lady was exceptionally helpful
Plenty of places to eat and rest next to the main food market. Five mins walk to the train stop for the airport
I love it there and love more to coming back. Only thing I missed was finding the beach!!!

Overall a good experience, but don't expect too much
It's in a good location however, the emergency light kept turning on and off, in our room, from 4am to 6am on the first night. The lights were flickering in the room the next evening also
It's a couple of minutes walk to a metro station and less than 5mins walk to the most beautiful shopping street in Malaga. Our room was perfectly acceptable and had everything we would want from a city centre hotel
Great service! Esther was amazing. There was an issue with the room, and she immediately called to let us know she had arranged another room in a different hotel of the same chain—and even upgraded us
The new manager Yolanda was most helpful and very welcoming. The entire staff have always being very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and had a mini-bar which was included in the price

Just stayed at the Villa Lorena. What a beautiful villa located in a beautiful quiet suburb, approximately 20 minutes walk from Malaga centre. The staff were very nice and both Sanae and Naomi were super efficient
Charming stay Naomi is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is in very good shape , nice pool, very quiet neighborhood ,not far from pedregalajo full of very good restaurants and bars , parking is in garage under hotel
Quiet stay in Málaga near Beach Small comfortable hotel located in quiet residential area, 10 min walk from the beach, 30 min walk from Málaga city centre. Friendly young staff. Recommemded 😊
Nice area. Nice pool but it was very hot and a bit hard to get into. I had a hard time sleeping because you could here everything, like people opening and closing there doors and talking which woke me up several times.
Just spent 4 nights in this charming boutique hotel in a quiet leafy residential area. The historical centre of Malaga is a short walk and bus ride away (several routes to choose from)
This is a small, charming and stylish boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city in an upmarket leafy neighbourhood. However it is very easy to get into the centre of Malaga or a short walk to the beach

The bed can only be explained by comparing it with a cloud. It's about a 10-15 walk from downtown. Very friendly staff and more than willing to give you directions to the places to visit
The building was beautiful with a lot of plants, the lobby needs some work. The room was confortable with a nice balcony, the A/C works well, we had a small fridge, we had water kettle with teabags
We had an amzing stay at Villa Alicia. The staff were extremely helpful and so pleasant. The continental breakfast was absolutely excellent. The patio/terrace out the front was a great place to relax and unwind at night
The breakfast started at 9am (too late for us). Lily made an effort to acomódate us, she prepared us two picnics bags to take
For this price was it an amazing stay. Adorable villa with very good breakfast and away from the busy streets. I would recommend booking the rooms with A/C

BUT the staff was very friendly, your towel is free, and the location is excellent. Just so-so, but it works fine enough
They do give you a towel, though, which is a plus! it is so noisy at night. Since the hostel is right on the street where there is bars so you hear everything…
We visited this hostel/cafe/hotel two years ago. It is in the heart of this beautiful and fantastic city. Overall it was a amazing experience. Clean, good looking cheesecakes, breakfast, coffee and service
Amazing experience when I came I got to leave my baggage before checking in (went to Plaza Mayor some hours) nice rooms but wish there were no water pipes straight over my bed😬 made noise…
But I have ear plugs with me✌️nice people working here and such nice cafeteria! I took some pictures of the cafe downstairs and Laura who worked here🌸🌸
The bathroom also frequently smelled of sewage, so they may have some issues with their pipes. The mattress was probably the worst hostel mattress I’ve ever slept on

Johnny is a legend!!!! Great bus service into Malaga centro and lovely walks and local bars and restuarants I will definetly be back again
Having never previously stayed in a hostel before I booked this place due to the price and other reviews but still wasn't sure what to expect
The owner is available for the majority of every day to ensure guests have what they need, and there are pleanty of areas to relax
Furthermore, there wasn't even a door, so there was no real privacy! I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and the price wasn't cheap, especially outside the peak tourist season, so it didn't seem like a good value
The beds were so comfy and the hostel was kept very clean. Great roof terrace! It felt very safe and friendly
