Great hotel, the staff is amazing! Our check in and check out process was easy going! The location it’s great!
Great location, good clean rooms, lovely staff . Only knocked a star off as it wasn't communicated to us that the cafe would be closed outside of breakfast times ,the times were simply scribbled out on our information card. I assume this is because it's low season, understandable just wish we had been told
What a lovely place to stay for our trip to Màlaga! Zahra at the reception desk was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The design the hotel is unique and fun, with an elevated beachy vibe. It was well located to explore the city and the accommodations were excellent. They had my favorite breakfast of any hotel I have stayed at with many delicious, fresh options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
This hotel is perfectly located in central Málaga, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all close by. The hotel was amazing, the staff were lovely and always helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend it.
We are a couple in our mid 60's and we loved this hotel! Third floor (lift) bright room, big comfortable bed, great shower. The Soho location suited us as it's quieter but still just a short walk to the wonderful market, the culture and buzz of the Old Town and the harbour. There are good places in the immediate area to eat and drink. We found the staff very welcoming, knowlegeable and helpful. They...
I was greatly charmed by this hotel and enjoyed my stay enormously. Arriving late after my flight from England I was efficiently and politely received - a good start. There was a noisy but jolly work reception going on in the ground floor café but by the time I got up to the third floor to find my room the noise had faded nicely. Once in my room - which was both magically quiet and astonishingly dark...

The hotel is very close to the train station, and even with a 27-inch suitcase it only took about five minutes to walk there, which was very convenient. Being able to travel without taking a taxi helped us save money, and the access to the airport was also very good. Although it is a little away from the busy city center, the area is relatively quiet, and since the station is nearby, it was still very...
Nice location. Well appointed rooms but uninspiring. Bathroom with s bathtub may take some refurbishment but it was very clean and well maintained. Nice restaurants in the surroundings. Very clean. Nice breskgsd
Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room had a fabulous view taking in sea, docks, river and mountains alongside views of the city. Rooms and service were great. Great choice of food options at breakfast. Very convenient for airport, old town and waterfront. Quiet at night. Would absolutely recommend.
The stay was overall very pleasant. The interiors of the hotel are beautiful and well designed, creating a nice atmosphere. We also really appreciated the possibility of an earlier check-in, which made our arrival much more comfortable. The breakfasts were good and offered a decent selection. A solid place to stay in Málaga.
Excellent location, train from airport stops next to the hotel. Big comfortable beds, very clean, kettle and tea making in the room, also have fridge in the room. Staff very friendly Breakfast very good, lots to chose from, something for everyone, would definitely stay again.
The hotel is in a good location. 2 minutes walk from Gran Vía. The hotel is old but well maintained. Breakfast was ok. Not amazing. There are many restaurants and shops around. It is also within walking distance to many famous attractions. The room is quite big. No kettle

The hotel had a stunning and impressive exterior, incredibly friendly staff, beautiful interiors, a warm welcome service, and a spacious, comfortable room. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Enjoying breakfast in a bright, sun-filled space made the experience even better.
room service was perfect, location is good 15 minutes walk to center and 3 minutes to the beach. breakfast was okay but having fresh made omelets was good 🙃and waiting for coffee the none pleasant part but overall okay however I had better breakfast in the other hotels. stuff very professional and nice.
Gran Hotel Miramar is truly the crown jewel of Malaga's hospitality scene, housed in a magnificently restored early twentieth-century palace. The moment you step through the grand entrance, you are transported to an era of unparalleled elegance with soaring marble columns, crystal chandeliers, and exquisite period furnishings. The rooms offer exceptional comfort with modern amenities while preserving...
Excellent 4-night stay recently. Everything was dialed in so nicely. Food on site was phenomenal. Location allows for a short walk to wonderful cafes and food. Views of the sea are incredible. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Concierge helped with everything we needed, including mailing an item I left behind by accident. So glad we chose this hotel for our stay in Málaga.
We recently stayed at this beautiful historic hotel and, overall, we enjoyed our time here. The property has a grand, elegant atmosphere and one of the most beautifully decorated lobbies I have ever seen. The breakfast was good as well, although it was the same selection every morning. That said, for a rate of €360 per night, a few things were surprising. The spa is not included in the room rate and...

Location is perfect, friendly staff. Close to cafes and restaurants.
Breakfast was great. The room was a bit small for three people, but very quiet. The location was excellent.
The hotel room was large enough to fit a lot of luggage. The location was also good, but it was very noisy, making it difficult to get a good rest during the day and night. My La Prairie sunscreen had been opened and used when the staff cleaned the room the next day, so I wouldn't recommend it.
The front desk, restaurant, and room service were all excellent. A special thank you to Jose at the front desk for his help and suggestions. Besides the airport, even the train station and the bus station to Gibraltar are within walking distance (without luggage). The hotel is rated 4 stars, and among the 4-star hotels I stayed at in Seville, Córdoba, and Granada, the facilities were the worst, but...
Good room and very central location, among the shops, restaurants, and bars of Malaga's pedestrian zone. If you're traveling by car, there are parking garages about a 5-minute walk away.

This is a regular choice for me in Malaga. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a cafe in the hotel and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Late check out is offered for a great price.. Enjoyable stay as always.
Budget hotel, very clean and 9 EUROS breakfast it's great; Location wise it's perfect. Next to big shopping mall.
I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room is extremely small and cramped, making it uncomfortable to relax. Hygiene was so-so, the SGE facilities were old, and the breakfast was so-so.
Great location, clean and comfortable room, buffet breakfast was nice, we would stay again if we visit Malaga center in the future.. thank you.
Fabulous hotel in the Soho area of Malaga. Great location! Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was limited but absolutely adequate, with enough variation. Lovely rooftop terrace! Would not hesitate to recommend and if ever we decide to arrange a long weekend in Malaga again, it will definitely be at the Mariposa Hotel!
This a an absolute gem of a hotel. Very central to everything. 5 mins walk to see the Christmas lights, the centre, the port etc. Breakfast is a bit limited but good. Rooftop Bar is lovely. Great place to stay.
We spent four nights here in early November. The location is excellent, in the centre of Malaga on a guiet street. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. All of the hotel is clean with a pleasant smell. And the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with great recommendations for nearby cafes and restaurants.
The hotel is in a good location close to old town and the beach. Very walkable which we loved but slightly outside the busy hubbub. The scenery is stunning! It's like an old 5 star hotel which is very suitable for staycation. The room inside is a bit old but it's acceptable. The hotel is located in the top of a hill. If you're not driving or taking the bus, you should prepare for a hike to get the hotel.
The location is fantastic. It's the perfect hotel for viewing Malaga's beaches and city center. The nighttime view of Malaga is so spectacular you'll want to spend the night admiring it from the terrace. The spacious interior is also perfect for families.
Great view from room. Spacious room. A bit inconvenient as it’s high above city, but we knew that in advance. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
We enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable stay in this excellent hotel, which is based on a historic building. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The buffet breakfasts and lunches served from the bar were tasty and varied in choices and options. Views of Malaga from the terrace are the best! Would highly recommend this hotel!
We had superior room - very spacious . Water left as welcome only on the first day! would expect it everyday with this class of Hotel. We had a nice balcony overlooking the port. A very well-connected place, close to the airport and just a bus ride away from the city center. The room was clean, and my stay was wonderful. 100% recommended.
I reserved this hotel at night on the very day of my stay. I got the first room on the 0 floor. I couldnt lock my room door. So I felt a little unsafe. The amenities were great but the room was old.
The food was okay and the service was decent. Nothing special, but not bad either. The place is clean and the portions were fair. Good for a quick meal
really nice way better then expected. Staff were very welcoming thanks to LEO on the phone. walls a bit to thin so it was hard to sleep but other than that perfect

Wonderful experience in Malaga— it is clean, quiet and very beautiful with many cafes and restaurants around. The room was accessible and the check-in process was straightforward. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the old town plaza, and about 20 minutes from the nearest beach. Will happily come here again!
Handy spanish hotel in Malaga town near everything, rooms a tad bit small for 2 , toilets grand and breakfast good. Train station opposite 3 min walk. Train runs all day from airport (30 mins) up and down coast. 3€ cost and tap and pay (2025) . Hotel handy access for all areas .
Excellent location within short walking distance to all site seeing areas, shopping and transport. Room was in good condition and cleaned daily. Fridge was small and not cool enough. No kettle facilities. Breakfast was average but lacking quality and some cutleries were not cleaned properly. Staff were excellent and helpful with special thanks to Miguel and Carolina. I still recommend the hotel.

The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Housekeeping kept the room spotless. The room was a little small but had everything I needed. The hotel is very conveniently located in the old section. I had a wonderful time.
Everthing was nice, except the noise during nights. The city hall cleans ths streets every night around 3am with some loud machines.
Excellent location, clean, modern rooms, lovely roof terrace & helpful staff.
Pros: location, pool, sundeck, modern decor, comfy bed, staff. Cons: lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room, lack of furniture in the room( only one chair), double glazing not sufficient for keeping noise out.
Central location, immaculate, noisy at night The man on night shift was so lovely very helpful. The females on reception not to helpful. Room immaculately clean and left great by housekeeper. Room was so noisy, very disturbed sleep. Asked for a wake up call and reception were happy to provide this for my early flight. The location is perfect! The room had no ventilation. The bed was a bit hard and no duvet or blanket. The breakfast was ver nice, but not ready on time for opening.
Hotel and rooms were okay but tired, a refresh is needed. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful, breakfast staff didn't check and replace food as needed or clear plates. The cooked breakfast was awful and we wouldn't have considered eating it
Great hotel to explore Málaga, perfect location near to the historic centre but far enough away to be quiet at night. I had a pleasant stay here. The staff was nice, bed was comfortable and food was pretty good.
We stayed there with a large group some time ago, and this hostel is adequate for sleeping. The building is very basic. The beds in the rooms are rickety, and the mattresses and bedding are thin. Breakfast consists mostly of packaged bread/rolls. The hostel is inconveniently located outside of downtown Málaga, so you have to get to the center first.
Everything was excellent. The room, the facilities, the breakfast. I truly recommend the place. The only detail is that Wi-Fi did not fully reach my room. I had to go to the corridor sometimes. Besides that, it was excellent.
Friendly welcome, the building and room were clean and comfortable. Not far from the bus station and a 10-minute drive from the airport! Overall, great value for money! We recommend! The street was quite noisy, but nothing overwhelming.
The rooms are nice, but not very large (unless you're alone). The shower was the right size. The included breakfast is basic: coffee, milk (including without lactose and soy milk), tea, orange juice, bread, cheese, butter, jam, olive oil, cereals, muffins, fruits (apples, pears and nectarines). It's a nice location about a 20 min walk from the center and from the Maria Zambrano station.
Everyone is welcome It was a very pleasant experience, with the staff super dedicated to answering any questions. The property has enough amenities for a comfortable stay, including a lovely garden to enjoy, a reading room, a dining room, laundry and Zoom services, and lockers for luggage storage. Highly recommended for solo travelers, travelers with children, couples, and students.
