From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The room was extremely comfortable, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city. What really made our stay special, however, was the warmth and professionalism of the entire team.
The hotel went above and beyond by asking about our children’s interests and preparing a surprise Christmas setup along with thoughtful gifts for them. We were expecting only a Christmas tree, so the gifts were an incredibly touching surprise. The Christmas dinner was also outstanding, both delicious and beautifully prepared.
Even small details stood out. We ordered food delivery several times, and the staff kindly brought everything to our room without being asked, even checking if we needed plates and utensils. Despite several rainy days during our stay, we were perfectly happy relaxing in the hotel and enjoying the view, including a beautiful rainbow right after the rain.
Special thanks to Juan, the Front of House Manager, for coordinating everything so thoughtfully, and to the entire team for making us feel so well cared for throughout our stay.
We will absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly warm, memorable experience.

The only drawback was the hairdryer, which required the button to be continuously pressed in order to function. For guests with longer hair, this can be quite uncomfortable 💇♀️
Aside from this small issue, everything was perfect. I would be delighted to stay at the Almanac again on my next visit to Barcelona 🥰🇪🇸

-Service / hospitality was amazing. Everyone was only too happy to help.
-Super modern, lovely linen, sensor lights etc.
- Large rooms- I had an amazing view.
- Rooftop with incredible views.
Cons
-The pool is just a wading pool, not for swimming which I didn’t realise, but wasn’t a deal breaker.
-The drinks on the rooftop were ok - not the best in the world… A beer was 14 euros which was excessive.
