The location is great. The room is a bit old now, and the bathroom is small, but it doesn't really affect the overall experience. Breakfast is included. While it's the same every day and I got tired of it after a couple of days, it's still convenient to grab a coffee, some fruit, and yogurt. Sunbathing on the balcony was very relaxing~

We had quite a terrible experience with this property. While they may also have nice rooms in their offering, they gave us a shabby overpriced interior room with limited privacy. They did not allow us to switch the room or cancel for the remaining two nights with refund. We decided to switch to another hotel anyway. There is plenty of amazing options in the neighborhood. The hotel owner acted unethically, coming up with new and new reasons why he technically could not do a refund. Stay away!

JUST TO REACT TO THE ANSWER WHICH THE OWNER SUBSEQUENTLY ADDED BELOW: The answer is nicely crafted, but does not have the facts right. After our late check-in and spending the first night, we politely asked for a different room, which the owner declined. We therefore politely requested cancellation for the remaining two nights with refund. The owner also declined this, offering, however, that he can put the room on the market and if it will be sold, he will refund us. Considering how bad the room was, we checked out that morning, switched to a different hotel in the vicinity (infinitely nicer, but for the same price) and let booking.com know. We saw in the evening that the room was not on the market, so reminded the owner he should refund us. The owner declined it. We find this approach quite unethical. STAY AWAY!

An absolutely lovely hotel with a relaxed yet luxurious feel. Large rooms with subtle lighting made everything seem calm and slow.

The staff were great. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Being really close to La Rambla was perfect for our stay too.

If I go back to Barcelona, I'd stay here again.

Unique experience. Property bang on in central Barcelona with various commuting options just a stone throws away. Rooms have a very vintage/grand look to them and very different to main stream hotels.

Very nice hotel, if you can afford it don’t hesitate to book it. The localization is awesome, also the breakfast was very good, and the bedroom... no words.

A completely unique and amazing hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. So beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. Magnificent interior - everything is beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfasts, even gluten free option for us. Excellent location closed to Casa Batlo, Casa Mila...around the corner is metro and bus station. Closed to Plaza de Catalunya and the centre. I highly recommend it.

This is a charming small B&B located on the second floor of an historic building that is now primarily occupied by offices. It was an excellent home base for us during the recent heatwave. Beautiful atmospheric space with all mod cons. Superhigh ceilings, spacious dimensions, terrace over looking a leafy courtyard, excellent A/C, bed, shower. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Public spaces are comfortable and welcoming. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and in/near great neighborhoods (Eixample, Gracia).

Amazing location. Peaceful and quiet. Nice and cozy decor, ample room, beautiful terrace. We love it here so much. nice Aircon. Just across from casa Mila. With diagonal metro station within 3 min walk. Fantastic stay ! Many Restaurants and shops nearby

Only reminder when you do your booking is there’s some stairs at the entrance. But the staff are very friendly to help.
