Our stay at the Olivia Balmes Hotel in Barcelona was genuinely the best hotel experience we've ever had. The true standout was the service, particularly from Margarita, who started our trip perfectly by graciously arranging both an early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade. Margarita went absolutely above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Our upgraded room itself was fantastic, offering a spacious and beautifully designed space. We especially loved the luxurious waterfall shower, which was a wonderful touch. The inclusion of a private terrace was also a great addition.

Live outside of Barcelona and wanted to stay in the city for a Friday night. Olivia Balmes was the perfect choice. Centrally located, superior service by the staff and a really nice room. It was quiet, bed was really comfortable. And it was the best price of all the hotels in it class.....One comment for management, it was not clear during the online registration process that you have parking.

This was truly the best hotel we’ve stayed at across Europe. The location was perfect, the service was exceptional, and the rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. Every detail from check-in to daily touches showed how committed the staff is to creating a flawless guest experience. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!

I stayed three days at Olivia Balmes Hotel, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind, taking care of everything I needed with a smile. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of space for my belongings. It’s not a “top-design” kind of room, but it feels warm, clean, and welcoming, and the price definitely matches the quality.
I stayed alone, but the room can easily accommodate two people comfortably.
The lobby isn’t particularly modern or fancy, and the Wi-Fi there was a bit unstable, so it wasn’t ideal for working. However, it’s still a nice spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee and relax.
Overall, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-priced stay with excellent service in Barcelona.

We stayed at Olivia Balmes Hotel for three nights and four days, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
First of all, the location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to shops, restaurants, and just about everything you’d want to explore in Barcelona. It’s such a convenient and strategic spot.
The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and great quality. But what really made our stay special was the staff, every single one of them was warm, friendly, and welcoming. We arrived close to midnight, and the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with our luggage and make sure we were comfortable. Even the cleaning staff were lovely. The management even surprised us with a small sweet treat, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our day.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay for our family, and we’ll definitely come back next time we visit Barcelona. Highly recommended!

I've stayed in this pleasant hotel accompanied with my husband and daughter for 5 days two weeks ago. The staff were really nice, kind and helpful . They tried seriously to solve everything. The welcoming drink was very pleasant and relaxing after a long journey. The room and every other places were very clean. I will choose the same place if I have the second chance to travel to Barcelona.

The front desk gave me a free breakfast voucher for the gym and swimming pool. I tipped them, and the next day they even wrote me a card and gave me beautiful macarons – I was so happy! When I left, I had a lot of luggage, and the porter, Wil, helped me carry it all to the taxi; I was very grateful. Next time, I'll book earlier. This time was a bit awkward; I booked whenever I had time, but I couldn't book for the middle days and ended up with a terrible Airbnb – I was horrified! A difference of twenty euros really makes a difference!

Our stay exceeded all expectations! The friendly staff took care of everything, and we even received an upgrade with a lovely surprise on top. The meals were excellent, and the hotel’s location is perfect. Overall, great value for money – highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel a quick walk to many of the main attractions but on a cute tree lined street. Lovely rooftop pool area. Rooms are clean and modern. I could hear a bit of the street noise at night so just something to be aware of. Service was excellent. I did eat at the restaurant and was not very impressed with the food so would skip that next time. Parking was a minor selling point for me as I had a rental car and it is directly onsite underground with direct elevator up to your room. Overall what you get for the price is a great value. Will definitely stay here again.
