location was great. staff were very friendly and kind.it could definitely be one of the best options in Barcelona
One of the highlights was the daily breakfast buffet. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything was fresh and well-prepared — a great way to start each day.
What I appreciated most about this hotel was how clean and safe it felt. The rooms, common areas, and overall atmosphere gave me a strong sense of comfort throughout my stay.
Overall, HCC Montblanc is a solid choice if you’re visiting Barcelona: clean, safe, centrally located, and offering a good breakfast to start your day. I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.
Lobby front desk service staff were good. They were very helpful and friendly. They took the effort to retrieve a new kettle from their store as there were no more in stock at the reception. On the other hand, one of the restaurant service staff was cold, sulky and taciturn.
Rooms were really tiny with very limited amenities.
For the expensive price, overall was not value for money because we travelled during a long weekend and the prices were sky high.
We did move rooms halfway through due to construction noise, but there was no issue with our request. I accidentally left my shampoo and conditioner in our first room, which they moved into our new one while we were out. Very thoughtful and kind!
Would certainly come back here if we’re in Barcelona again!
The room itself is spacious and clean. The bathroom is modern and well-equipped with a great, large shower and a welcome kit, which was a nice touch. The breakfast is another standout. There's a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff are also very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The only real issue is the noise. The rooms don't seem to be very well-insulated, so we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms, especially from neighboring bathrooms, as well as some noise from the street. Overall, it's a great hotel and I recommend it for both leisure and business trips.
