AC Hotel Irla by Marriott in Barcelona

A small hotel just 2-3 mts walk, 100m off of the Diagonal….and thus much better value than other brands 15 mts closer to Sagreda Familia, La Rambla etc…..from the airport 30 mts and €35 bzy taxi The rooms are quite small, but you are out most of the day anyway that should not be a deal breaker unless you need the space! The beds are however comfortable, rooms are clean, the shower is powerful and hot…essentially all you need. If you need fitness you may prefer to run down the diagonal, the fitness centre here is cozy, a few of typical machines but a bit sterile…not really a great place to work up a sweat….(no sign of the advertised turkish bath or sauna on the website either) Breakfast at €18 is expensive if you only want a coffee and croissant, better to goto a local coffee….saying that if you want a lot of food the choice is good, omelettes made fresh and then it is no more expensive than going local … All in all a reasonable hotel within a walking distance of most key sights and fairly priced…

Great place to stay i will defenetly stay there again

I stayed for two nights in business. Hotel is nicely located near shops bars and restaurants but about 20 mins in taxi to the beach. Staff are very nice, hotel is very clean. Rooms are basic but that’s what you would expect from this hotel however bed is comfortable and has tea coffee drinks etc. has a tiny gym which i didn’t use and doesn’t have a bar but there are others close by. I would recommend.

Pablo and Edward were so helpful and informative of the events happening Around town impacting my trip. They made the stay so pleasant. The rooms and entire building were clean and cozy

The property places wash cloths in the bathroom without having to request-not typical in Europe-much appreciated. Very clean room and bathroom-very much appreciated! Quite walkable location to shopping and transportation hubs if traveling further to attractions.

The Hotel room is very tiny but surprisingly has everything. It is not marketed well. For instance you can order hot breakfast (eggs the way you want) which we discovered accidentally. Also, they sell tickets for Picasso museum which we would have availed off. But this was never published. The restrictions on water in the room need be relaxed a bit. Better yet give us a reusable bottle with your logo. The staff are extremely nice and helpful.

As a solo business traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the AC Hotel Irla by Marriott in Barcelona. The bathroom, with its unique colored glass design, provided ample privacy— clearly some reviews to the contrary are not accustomed to European hotels. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of high-quality dishes. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making my stay both productive and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Barcelona.
