As other reviews have mentioned, the bathroom smelled mildew-like, but using bath salts made it go away, so I recommend bringing some. The cleaning wasn't too bad for me, but there were still some bits of dirt left behind, so it felt minimal.
The lack of a door chain may make you feel uneasy.
The outlets were type C, and my single room had four, two in the bathroom and two in the room.
Amenities included a shower cap, soap, body gel, a sponge, shampoo, body milk, and a toothbrush.
There was a hair dryer (hot air only) and a small refrigerator.
The nearest station was Urquinaona Station, and Plaza Catalunya was just a few minutes' walk away, so transportation was convenient.
There were small supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
The staff were all kind, smiling and greeting me when we made eye contact. I was especially pleased that they spoke Japanese to me at check-in.
Also, the breakfast was really delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and something that I don't know the name of but was made of thinly sliced potatoes baked in the oven, which were so tasty I had seconds. lol
It was a wonderful stay. Thank you so much. 😊
The best part was, they did give us a 6pm, very late checkout with a fair price which was a great gesture as we had a late flight.
I left my valuable necklace in the room and realized it only after a few days. After calling the hotel, Hakim assured me they found the necklace and it would be stored for my friend to pick up.
