The location is decent not crowded. Nearby cafe shops and restaurants. Bus stop just in front us. The receptionist was very helpful. The room was clean and worth its price. And the attendants are very nice mostly Filipinos. highly recommended

We were very pleased with our stay at B****lona. Arlyn, in particular, who worked at reception, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive; she supported us in every way. The room was a little small but clean, tidy, and functional. Most importantly, the room was cleaned regularly every day. Breakfast was adequate and delicious. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it for its location, cleanliness level, and the attentiveness of the staff.

Room was spacious and clean tv and mini bar provided also , unfortunately there was renovations in the pool/hot tub area so unavailable but still a nice place and would choose to stay again 7/10

We loved the hotel. It was spotless and well-located, just a 4-minute walk from the Hospital Clinic metro station.

Excellent hotel!! We were attended by several receptionists throughout our stay, including the manager, the welcome was really warm, they helped us a lot, and upon our departure they secured our luggage while we walked around Barcelona for a few more hours.

The Sunotel Junior was centrally located for what we needed. Near a metro line and close walking distance to many areas that we needed to access it was the ideal location. The only criticism is that there is nothing on the booking site or hotel site letting you know you have to check in at the Sunotel Aston - a half block walk away but a bit disconcerting when you first arrive (especially from overseas). Otherwise once we figured that out it was fine.

We booked this hotel because we wanted to travel budget friendly, but with a pool. So we choose this.
To be honest we were a little scared because of the bad reviews. But we didn’t experience anything bad at all.
Yes they moved the check in to the other hotel, and you have to walk a little to get to to your room. But I don’t see that as a big issue.
Our check in went smoothly and the person who helped us was extremely nice and helpful.
The room was perfect for what we needed, yes a little outdated, but we are only there to sleep and freshen up. The airco was working as promised. Most important, it was clean.
The pool is a big +++.
After our check out we could leave out bags because our flight wasn’t until late in the evening, which is a nice gesture.
Overal, we really fell in love with Barcelona and we will definitely come back.

I was on a business trip, so it wasn’t my choice to stay in this hotel. If you need just a room to sleep in, it will probably do the job.
Check-in time is not respected. I had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes after the official check in time to get my room. Instead of 3pm, I got the keys only around 4:15pm. So if you are tired after a long trip, not even a simple “sorry” will be said to you at the reception. I didn’t find people at the reception friendly. The cleaners are very good and the only people who smile there.
The rooms indeed are old and falling apart. Every time I took a shower, I had to screw the hose in, otherwise the water would splash in all directions. After a shower, even if you are super careful, there will be water everywhere, which made me not notice the forming puddles from a leaking air conditioner (which I did not use even for a second, it’s a mystery why it was leaking). The room was for one person with one twin bed, so i had to put my luggage right beneath the air conditioner, next to the wall. So once I noticed the leak, I realized that some of this disgusting water dripped right onto my clothes.
If you do stay there, don’t take the overpriced breakfast there, go around the corner to the cafe My Friend, a wonderful family owned place that will welcome you with love!

This was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. It had no window to the outside (only to a stairwell), the door was 1 metre away from the lift (so I heard noise all night), there was something wrong with the pipework (I just heard water flowing all night), there was no working fan extractor in the bathroom, the air con didn't work properly, the TV was stuck on a loading screen, and the entrance to the hotel was closed so I had to walk a long distance from the neighbouring hotel. This was honestly terrible.
