The hotel's location is perfect. The subway is right around the corner. It was great being able to walk to the Gothic Quarter and other tourist attractions. Plaça Catalunya is also a 10-minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Suizo. The property boasts an excellent location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, allowing easy access to many of Barcelona’s cultural landmarks, shops, and restaurants. The front desk team provided outstanding service—always courteous, helpful, and attentive. A particular highlight was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices, making each morning a pleasure. Overall, Hotel Suizo delivers comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers.

Excellent value hotel right in front of the L4 metro. Walking distance to most places or direct train few stops away. Morning breakfast cafe right in front of hotel too with good latte. Lift tho is slow n small. Best to take the lower floor rooms n walk the stairs

5 day stay in August - location is absolute gold. It’s directly in between the medieval and gothic cities and you are a 5-10min walk from a number of cafes, restaurants, bars, museums, and shops. It’s a 20min walk to the beach. Honestly, there are better beaches in other countries so don’t go just for the beach. The facilities were clean and staff friendly. The food and culture is one of a kind and we spent every second of those 5 days exploring.

Front desk staff was a dream! So helpful and pleasant to deal with. I must’ve driven them crazy with all my suitcases and opening them before we even checked in looking for my charger, but they didn’t bat an eye, helped me get each one out from the back so I could search for it! Only downside was room size, pretty cramped but typical for European hotels. Balcony was teeny tiny too. Bed not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on but did the trick for 2 nights. Location is absolutely fantastic, easy to walk to anywhere in Barcelona from here. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not have any there, went to nearby Cappuccino cafe across the street for that. Hotel itself was a nice stay, just wish the room was a little bigger. But front desk staff makes it all worth it, service by them was unbeatable!

This hotel received a very high rating from me in relation to the cost, and to my delight, it even exceeded my expectations.
I only have good things to say about the hotel. Perfect location. Fair price. Excellent service and shiny and well-maintained rooms.

The room is cleaned every day. There is a small fridge in the room and a safe with a mechanical key rather than a digital one (much safer).
You can store your luggage on arrival and departure and they are willing to help with any matter, Including taking your shopping to your room. No need to hesitate at all, this is the best value for money hotel you will find.

Very good hotel, with a great location. The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable. There is Russian-speaking staff. Be sure to take breakfast, you will not regret it.

We had a great 1 night stay at Hotel Suizo. The location is great - next door to an EXCELLENT bakery, by the metro, and in the old quarter of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small - we had one on the 5th floor with a sky light rather than a window, but the a/c worked well and the skylight was cool. The bathroom was up to date. I recommend. We also got the breakfast buffet. Plenty of food, including eggs, yogurt, various breads and meats. Coffee was from an automatic machine, several juice options. Or of course you could go pick up something at the bakery next door instead. Oh and we were able to check in a bit early. They also store bags as needed.

Comfortable clean hotel excellent location right above the subway in the center of the old area. The choice of the room fell on the economic aspect so last floor under the roof. On New Year's Eve it was fine, but next time I will take the room with balcony on the square

We arrived at the hotel around 2am and went down to get someone from reception since we weren’t informed on what number to dial to get through to them via phone. The staff member was polite enough to come into our room to turn the heaters on for us, however turned on the air condition to maximum instead and we all woke up with a flu the next morning which ruined our 4 day trip. When we called someone again in the morning that is when we were told that the air conditioning had been on all night rather than the heather. This really ruined our whole experience of Barcelona. Besides this the hotel was very centrally located.
