Location

Located at Carrer de Còrsega, 541 in the Eixample district, the hotel is just about a 3-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia cathedral and the nearby metro station of the same name. It’s within 5 minutes by metro or taxi to the city center and about 20 minutes on foot to the Glòries shopping center and the Triumphal Arch. The airport (El Prat) is approximately 14 km away. Nearby dining options include Telepizza (123 m), Pizza Emporio (274 m), and KFC (277 m). The Monument to Anselm Clavé is 687 m from the hotel, providing cultural interest close by.

This was a European trip with my daughter, who lives in Ireland. We were able to fully enjoy Barcelona as the hotel was only about a 5-minute walk to Sagrada Familia, and transportation was very convenient. The room was spacious, and the bathroom even had a bathtub, which was perfect for relaxing our tired bodies after a day of sightseeing.

Very good hotel

I spent their 3 nights in this hotel.

+They nicely upgraded my room from one to a 3 persons room.
o They charged 90€ pP; I did that because I had not the option to cancel the reservation charge fee.
- Be aware to pay tourist tax for each person during the check-in, that’s is not included in the total price.
+ room was clean and housekeeping did a great job
o Our room was big enough for three people- but the third additional bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillow.
- There was no need to use the AC; However, it was very noisy
o The bathroom was nice, but the hair dryer could not blow cold air
+ Breakfast was great for the price. They had tasty pies.
- If you want to store your luggage after check out in the hotel, you have to rent a locker, they will not but in their storage room. That was a unusual experience.
+ staff in general very nice

Location has its pro and cons

Would I book again? Only if they have a good offer.

I usually don’t create reviews, however, i thought this can help someone and answer some questions.

We arrived on 12/10/25 in Hotel  Sagrada Familia for a 4-day, 3 night stay. That night, we couldn’t sleep because we keep on perspiring and the room was so hot.I tried to adjust the temperature but the aircon was I still in a heater mode. In other words, our first night was really worst. The next morning, I complaint  about our problem, a certain Martina attended to us and told us that the whole hotel’s aircon was set up in a heater mode during autumn. What she can do is to give us an electric fan and told us that she will send someone to bring it to our room, it’s already night and no electric fan arrived. So, I went to the lobby and Martina was not there and a certain Stephanie was in the counter. I told her about our problem and immediately, she opened the storage room and ask me if she could send someone to bring it in our room. It’s just a small electric fan and very light so I just carried it by myself. Thanks to Stephanie for her immediate action. I was so disappointed by their staff Martina for disregarding me about my request. Hope the management will not tolerate such staff like Martina for attending to their client properly.

It is a pretty basic hotel ,we booked for 3 people ,the room is very small and even with closed window we would hear the busy street at night. We were on the 1st floor.
It was more expensive in booking.com than booking the room directly on the site of the hotel . Unfortunately I saw it later .
The breakfast was basic but for 8€ it will do.
(special offer at that moment instead of 15€).
The automatic coffee machine has better coffee than the actual breakfast coffee machine.
The staff was very friendly though and very helpful. The hotel has a garage for 27€/day which is great since there no way finding a parking spot. Also we were two blocks away from the metro Sagrada familia (and the actual Sagrada familia)
and 20 min by metro from Barcelonnetta .

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. Just a short walk to major attractions, shopping, restaurants and public transportation.

Great location walking distance to everything, with a close view of the church on the top roof. Bathroom facilities are new, Aircon is powerful. Things that could improve might be the door lock, I have to try multiple times to close the door and it does make loud sounds. Overall good price for its quality.

The Hotel is in a great location, close to the Sagrada Família (as expected haha), a walking distance from most important sites, also close to metro lines, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, the staff was super nice and the breakfast was great! We had an amazing time there.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.
The staff—from front desk to manager—were consistently rude and unhelpful. The hotel itself is overpriced for what’s offered, very crude and basic, more like a cheap motel. Our room had cockroaches, and we even saw them in the breakfast buffet. The phone in our room didn’t work, and everything felt dingy.
What's worse is We booked three rooms, but one of them—under my name—was canceled despite being fully prepaid for 5 nights, because of a rigid “no show” policy. We were staying in the hotel and only planned to use the extra room the next day, yet they refused to honor it.
Policies like this, paired with unfriendly service and poor hygiene, make it clear this hotel prioritizes profit over guests. Avoid this hotel—there are far better options in Barcelona.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
