I can't say enough of this place! It actually surprised me how modern and comfortable this hostal is! Location just can't be better and the staff is really friendly and helpful! If you are visiting Barcelona stay here and you won't regret it.

It's located in a great area with easy access to points of interest. The facilities are well-maintained, even though the building is old. It's simple but has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The towels were dirty and there weren't enough for everyone, but the location was excellent!

The staff member was Indian. The hostel room was decently clean, but it lacked a kitchen. I was supposed to pay only 11 Euros for city tax, but they charged me an extra 22 Euros. They promised to refund the excess amount to my card by 3 PM that afternoon, but by 10 PM, the refund still hadn't appeared.
The next day, I went back to inquire why the refund still hadn't been processed. The same employee claimed he knew nothing about it. He then made several unsuccessful attempts to process the refund to my card. I then requested a cash refund. He kept stalling and refused to give me cash. After a long wait, he finally handed me the cash only when other guests arrived to check in. It turned out he had the cash on hand the whole time but just wouldn't release it, clearly trying to scam me, thinking, 'they're just tourists, it doesn't matter if we fleece them a little.'
During this whole ordeal, I had to contact Trip.com, and the call alone cost me 10 Euros in charges. This is a hostel, but the service was abysmal. I absolutely do not recommend it. This was my first booking with Trip.com, and encountering such an issue means I will never book with them again.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Everything was clean and no-frills. Check-in was smooth, even late at night. It definitely offers good value for money. While the room was quite compact, it was perfectly adequate for our stay.
