You have to ask for the blow dryer and return after each use
You have to return the key when going out and get the key when returning back and if there are people at the reception you have to wait
Bed is with spring mattress and thin pillow. I struggled to sleep
Nice big TV although no remote so useless.
Shower rose holder is broken so you have to hold it through the whole shower.
Free wifi but only had one bar of reception in our level 8 room so painfully slow.
Hotel is listed on booking as having an elevator. It does but you have to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs first to access it. The 2nd flight is right in front of reception. I was offered no assistance by young man behind the counter. By the way the elevator is so small my wife and I and our modest luggage had to go up in two goes.
Finally worth noting that there is a revolting sewage stench coming from the bathroom so I figure proper cleaning hasn’t been done:
Great location but the price is far too much for what was offered. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this at all given our experience.
Even though not top notch, I might consider going to this hotel again next time I visit Barcona, but asking in advance for a different room perhaps...
