Hostal Sans in Barcelona

Worst experience of my trip was staying at this place. Desk staff is absolutely atrocious, except for one man. The worst of them all was a middle aged man with dark hair and a goatee. He would try hiding behind the desk when we came in, because the front desk keeps all the room keys. Then when he stopped hiding, he would huff and puff in irritation. They offer luggage storage but this man was so irritated we asked and wouldn't allow us to drop them off into the room like we did when we first checked in. He told us to just drop them and leave and just kept saying "go, go, I deal. Go." When we came back to get our luggage before flying out he did as much as he could to "verify" it was our bags and then gave a wry smile when we finally got them like he did something to them while we were gone. We got the impression that you weren't supposed to stay at the place for more than one night. You can hear the metro trains rumbling below the building very loudly all the time. We also attempted to book a double bed room but they were full and gave us two single beds instead, even though we checked in quite early. We booked this online through a third party and marked that there were two adults and when we checked in they said we didn't pay for two adults and I had to pay up. This was after they said we didn't have a reservation because their computer system swapped my first and last names. Outside the place there is all kinds of graffiti and stickers that say "Tourists Go Home" or "Tourists Kill the City." Just overall didn't feel like a place that likes people. We tried our best to apologize for our lack of Spanish and confusion but it seemed to not affect their minds.
