I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively. You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe. Comfortable stay and very close to the station, which was great. Room was comfortable and service was friendly. My only slight issue was people in the room next to me talking very loudly in the middle of night (two nights in a row) and there did not seem to be much sound insulation to minimise noise.

The room was clean. It's located near metro station and bus station. Around 15 mins walking distance can reach Westfield -Glories shopping mall.

Rooms in Europe are generally on the smaller side, with pretty basic amenities. I tend to get cold easily, so I had the air conditioning running 24/7.

If you're a light sleeper, you would definitely want to ensure you're not in a room facing the road. It gets too loud at night . Unbearable 😞. Laundry services are also not the most convenient ones. To get laundry back in the same day, one is charged 50% of the cost. Other than that, overall one can survive. We decided a last minute trip to Barcelona for my birthday. We after a couple hours of searching around, we found Hotel Claris to be the best in the area, a lot of places are close by and a very safe area.
