Our stayed was outstanding! The rooms were beautiful, with blackout curtains and a shower that you wanted to stay under for an hour. Service was incredible and the drinks were fantastic! SPECIAL MENTION TO RUBEN! when we checked out of the hotel there was a race going on and many streets were blocked, Ruben called us a taxi and he was kind enough to walk with us several blocks to meet the driver. Incredible service. And there is also a candy bar at the entrance. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Great location for all things Barcelona. Rooms are good sized, clean and neat. Service is top level. Start your day with a great breakfast at the hotel, and grab a nightcap at the rooftop bar/restaurant.

We stayed in room 501 and you hear loud grating/screeching noises anytime the elevators run. You can also clearly hear people walking in their rooms as well as conversations. Although the hotel is in a great location, during our 2nd night we were woken at 3am by the sound of loud yelling and banging in the hall outside our door. My husband checked to discover two women and a man physically fighting in the doorway of the room across from us. I tried to call the front desk but no answer. About 15-20 minutes after it started my husband went down to get security because they still hadn’t shown. He said he could clearly hear the commotion at the desk and didn’t understand why it took them so long. The whole episode, including him having to speak to the police took two hours. At no point did staff members speak to us, to even offer the barest apology. At checkout when we mentioned it, at first they tried to deny anything happened until we said my husband was the one that had to speak to the police and then they admitted it but said nothing else. We would stay in the area again, but not at this hotel.

All style, no substance. This hotel seems to be for people blind to costs and who can spend freely. The hotel is beautiful but that's about it. The pool terrace has a capacity of 10 for a 124 room hotel. Getting a drink laying by the pool was difficult and presented with zero hospitality. My shower was either broken or required and in person demonstration to operate--I passed on the demo. The wifi is abysmally slow for it being 2025 (

We decided a last minute trip to Barcelona for my birthday. We after a couple hours of searching around, we found Hotel Claris to be the best in the area, a lot of places are close by and a very safe area. We checked in on my birthday and the process was easy and fast. They even had a gift for me, they made me feel special for my trip. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel lives up to the promise it makes in its advertising. But what sets it even higher are the staff. We spent one night here, and it like the equivalent of a week’s rest. It’s worth the money if you can do it. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel to stay at, staff were very frienly and accomodating. They left a birthday card for me, desert and bottle of champange. The hotel is ideally located and only a 2 block walk to the hop on hop off bus tour. Plenty of resturants within walking distance.

She called me when we out sightseeing and asked me if I was ok and that we had only booked for four nights. I checked the reservation and she was right, I made a mistake. She able to keep us in the same room for a extra night at the same rate, our flight was leaving the next day. She really took care of us and I am very grateful to her.

Claris was perfect for my family and I. The staff were helpful, welcoming, and warm which makes for a comfortable stay. Valet was prompt. I would not hesitate to opt for valet. We did not have to call down to ask for the car in advance which is good for us because we are spontaneous. The rooms were lovely and of reasonable size for Barcelona. The location worked well for us also. A comfortable 15 to 20 minute walk to Gothic Quarter. Como ésta es una ciudad que debe explorarse a pie, la caminata se suma a la experiencia.
