Hotel Basilica in Palma

We stayed at Hotel Basilica in Palma de Mallorca in the mid of August for almost a week, I was with my sister and our experience was truly wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located right in the center of Palma, yet it’s calm and peaceful. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh and varied.

The swimming pool is quite small, but honestly everything else was absolutely perfect.

A very special thank you to Christian at the reception. He is truly the best! He helped us so much throughout our stay — from renting a car, to recommending places to visit, restaurants, and everything to do in Palma. Always smiling, kind and extremely professional. We really want to thank him for all his help.

When we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of champagne, which was such a warm and lovely touch.

Hotel Basilica was beautiful- not only the aesthetic, but the staff as well. I cannot recommend this place more. Our friends at the desk gave us recommendations for food and sights and everything was 100/100. 10 stars. They were happy and respectful and really fantastic. I will be back my next time in Majorica!!

Elegant boutique hotel - classy and friendly

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Basilica in Palma. The hotel is slick, full of character, and beautifully designed, with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

The rooms are well-appointed, featuring functional showers with Molton Brown toiletries, a comfortable, good-sized bed, and excellent sound insulation for a peaceful night’s sleep. The free minibar was a lovely touch.

The rooftop terrace is a highlight — a small plunge pool with a charming view of the cathedral and nearby basilicas, perfect for a quiet break in the city.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, offering great restaurant recommendations and even going out of their way to bring a bottle of Freixenet Brut when they learned it was my husband’s birthday — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

The location is ideal, just a 6-minute walk from the cathedral, close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel calm and private.

Overall, an elegant and welcoming boutique hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Palma

A fantastic place to stay to enjoy Palma. Easy walking everywhere. Efficient chilled vibe throughout the hotel. Amazing views from rooftop terrace. Staff always smiley and helpful. Booking again for next year.

The best hotel. I would stay here again. in a heart beat. Great breakfast, great service and STAFF. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Gave us recommendations for dinner and the rooftop pool has a fantastic view. Walking distance to almost everything.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Basílica. Perfect location, short ride to the airport which cost 19 euros. Rooms were clean, attentive staff. Lovely little touches which made our stay that extra bit special.
We would definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
