The service was excellent. It's very close to the sea and the beach. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I come back. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious! 👍

I am bringing my rating down because I discovered I was charged for the minibar despite never using it. This has never happened to me before and I will be sure to check everything before I pay in the future.
Our room was pretty compact but clean and comfortable. The noise isolation is not so good, but people around us were usually quiet so there wasn't too much problem.
On the topic of guests, they were predominantly German and middle-aged (or older). I don't mind, but it creates a particular type of atmosphere.
The con of this hotel is that there are two lifts, both pretty small (4 people feels crowded but they can carry 6 and 8 persons officially). Because of this, we always used the stairs to go down and often to go up as well.
During our stay, there was never a problem to find a place to park the car on the street, but it was late October so your mileage may vary.
The area around the hotel is honestly not great, the beach is nice but it's a typical party town with loud music and drunk people. Let's just say it's less like Canary Islands and more like Benidorm. We spent most of our time exploring the island, so it wasn't that big a problem, but it would have been nice if the area was more suitable for walks and had actually nice places to sit down for a drink etc instead of being whatever that was.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riu Festival. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day. Food was tasteful and well presented, the waitresses were attentive and friendly. Location was convenient for the beach, promenade and sightseeing. The reception team was very helpful. Many thanks to Miguel for understanding and dealing with our request. Definitely recommend this hotel, 5 stars.

We booked and paid for this hotel from since August. We arrived at the hotel to be told they are over booked and put us in another hotel. Staff was rude and had no consideration for the inconvenience. No prior warning or notification was given to myself or even the agency. No compensation for the huge inconvenience was given and was told to take it up with who we booked with. I have traveled alot of places as you can see in my reviews and Will never book Riu company again. Ruined our holiday and a birthday celebration.

A very nice hotel, large, comfortable room, friendly staff, excellent food, I can confidently recommend it! I would be happy to visit again if I have the opportunity.

A very nice and renovated hotel. There's room for improvement, though. The staff at reception are extremely friendly and helpful. Not once did they frown at a question – incredibly kind. We arrived late and hungry in the evening, around 10:30 pm. We were served a cold buffet in the restaurant. Very courteous and delicious. The restaurant was good, whether for breakfast or dinner; you certainly didn't go hungry. We didn't use the pool or the bar. The room was cleaned daily. The only drawback was the not-so-clean bed linens. We found some stains and hairs on them.
The beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. The airport is a 10-minute taxi ride from the hotel. A bus stop is a 1-minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short stay of a few days.

Great location. Pool and garden area very well maintained. Good breakfast and dinner with plenty of options. Comfortable bed. The only real issue was the air con. The rooms are far too hot. We asked multiple times for it to be switched on. They apparently only switch it on for a few hours during the day. We then have to open the door in the evening but there’s too much noise. Guest comfort should be a priority.

The service here is terrible. No one offered to take our luggage to our room. The hair dryer would not work so I requested a new one via the room’s telephone. I was asked to collect it from reception! Upon check out, no member of staff asked us how our stay was or thanked us for staying with them! Poor customer service! The food was so bad we did not eat dinner at the hotel once. The pool towels we had to pay a €20 deposit for were in terrible condition, so thin all the seams were ripped apart and the threads were all over the place. You’d be better off purchasing the cheap towels from the tourist shops on the strip. This hotel is situation on a hot island and does not even provide its guests complimentary water bottles everyday!
