If I book through Trip, they tell me to find a solution elsewhere. What is this? And how do I get my VAT refunded? Isn't this illegal?
I suppose the negative side is that Palacio Avenida needs a bit of work. Unattached toilet seat and dripping tap, for example, aren't a great advert, not to mention the legendary, ancient carpet from other reviews.
But they try hard. For a decent night's sleep on the edge of the city, you can overlook some of the flaws. With a bit of TLC, this place would be a gem.
