Hostal San Telmo - Adults Only in Palma

The owner, staff member was nice at the beginning, but after two days was totally rude and very unpleasant. This is no way to treat a paying customer. She complained about me using the public toilet and also about me moving sun loungers by the pool.

After returning from dinner, we found one cockroach at the front door. Then, after searching the entire room and luggage, we found a total of 8. Additionally, there was a centipede in the shower. we tried to contact the reception by phone, no one was picking up. We spent the night on the pool loungers. the next day we tried to calmly explain the situation to the owner of the hostel by showing pictures. The lady at check in was very nice. When we came with the problem, the Lady showed her true face. She said it was our fault because we had food in the room and cockroaches and centipedes were a normal thing as there is a forest next door. We explained that we threw out the food right away when we saw that there was no fridge in the room. The lady did not want to listen to us, we did not get a full refund for two nights. The argument was that the luggage was in the room. Despite the fact that we slept outside. I strongly advise against staying at this hostel despite the wrong first good impression. The lady's approach was "don't like it, please find another hotel".

Fatal. towels changed every 3 days, bed sheets 1/ week , the WiFi does not reach certain rooms,I have found some panties of another tenant in the shower!!! Aberrant, and over the girl who greeted us arrogant and haughty. Do not put gel or shampoo. NOT VEnGAIS

We booked 6 nights here, but left the place after 1 night. We didnt sleep at all because of no air condition and very hot rooms. There are workers 100m away that will wake you up at 7.00. The rooms are very small, and the balcony is claustrofobic. The staff doesnt speak english and do not care much about their guests. Lights in the hallway are off, and need to be turned on yourself when it is dark.

Pros: Close to the beach and decent pool area. But one star is well deserved.

Small room. Small bathroom. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. No AC, you'll have to keep the windows open on the nearby construction site. Wifi in the lobby only. No power plugs near the bed, no reading light. Bed was uncomfortable. Annoying mosquitos. The pool bar is seldomly open. Lots of stairs. Two stars only because it actually was a cheap option and the location is ok.
