Hotel Gabarda in Palma Nova

I think this was our fourth or fifth visit to the hotel. We did find the stay quite expensive compared to previous visits, but that's the cost of living for you. All the staff are fantastic, so very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing, and sets you up for the day. We stayed at the top of the hotel, with a very large sun terrace with loungers, table and chairs. Fridge, air con, tv, kettle and hairdryer in the room. Extremely comfy beds. Quiet at night, but close enough to everything. Thanks again for a super holiday

Well I have just returned from a 5 night stay. What a great place. My friends had been before last year and we wanted to get away for a few days to celebrate my 60th which was in June. They did 7 nights but due to work commitments and having only returned three week previously from a two week holiday in Turkey with my husband so I could only do 5 nights I had a room in the Gil section as I had a smaller room due to being a single traveller. It was absolutely fine for one person. Beds made everyday I was there and all good. There is a fridge and kettle. Good size balcony - I was directly above the pizza restaurant and was lovely. The staff - where do I start - each and every one of them are fabulous. Could not do enough for you and honestly I would say probably the best staff I have come across in a hotel. Bar prices are very reasonable as are the snacks you can purchase during the day. We had breakfast included - and a good choice and again very good and fantastic service The pool area - whilst a small dip pool is completely adequate for a cool down. There are a number of sun beds around the pool. The sun doesn’t come around until about 12.30pm but when it does you know it. Always managed to get a bed or table around the side. This is definitely a place I would return to and look forward to returning. Well done to all and thank you for making my stay lovely.

Wow. Just got back from 2 weeks stay. And all I can say is amazing. The staff are so friendly and I mean everyone of them. From reception, bar staff, cleaners, the owners (who popped in everyday and spoke to all guests at breakfast) and got to say Christine's breakfast is the best I've had in any hotel in any country. Hotel is so clean and relaxed. Had 1 of the sun terrace rooms and was lovely to just chill on it. Just want to say thankyou for the last 2 weeks your hotel and staff are a credit to the hospitality industry.

So glad 😌 my search filter for 4 🌟 and above wasn’t on when searching for my bank holiday weekend away. This hotel is a gem 💎 seriously!! This hotel and its staff are amazing, very friendly and so many small touches I can’t list them all. This hotel should be much more than it’s 2.5 🌟. My whole experience was brilliant 🤩 . I hope many more experience the hospitality in this hotel. Its modern!! photos need updating to show this. Very clean. We were In room 304 for the extra balcony and lounge with views of the mountains. I’m very open now to under 4 star because this hotel felt 4-5 stars. Seriously I’ve been to lots of hotels 4 star plus! What carry’s the stars 🌟 I have to ask? For me I’d come back year after year which many do in this place. I don’t have to say much more other than. Lovely little hotel, not far from the beach, shops and restaurants. Nice and modern inside, lovely breakfast, all staff very welcoming and friendly, only negative is close to roads, but still a fab place to stay, would recommend 🙂

What a fantastic hotel to stay in, our 4th time here and it didn't disappoint. Room clean and spotless, air-conditioning brilliant. All staff go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable. The owner of hotel makes a point to call in with you, he's a real gentleman. Short distance to beach with a great selection of restaurants opposite. The only disappointment was Natalie's restaurant, personally I won't eat there again, Archies restaurant welcomes you only if your English as we found out, we were told if you don't like English people don't bother coming here. Overall Garbarda Gil is absolutely fantastic and we have booked for next year.

We have had a great week staying here. Everyone of the staff is very pleasant and find time to speak to you, they all ask if everything is okay. The breakfast system is great but how Sylvia manages in such a small space I do not know but her breakfast is very well cooked and enjoyable. Our room on the top floor was very big and comfortable with lots of wardrobe space. We will definitely be back, Antonio (from Cuba) makes very good Coco Lobo. Thank you all, you are a credit

This was our third time staying at the Hotel Gabarda and we have had another wonderful holiday experience 🥰 You get a warm welcome and there is a lovely atmosphere here that you just don’t get at the big hotels. We met lots of lovely people staying there, many of whom come back time after time. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts are really tasty with a great choice and the table and bar service is brilliant - I recommend the Caipirinha 🙏 We would not want to stay anywhere else in Palmanova, even the owner spoke to us and asked if everything was ok and if we were enjoying our holiday 🥰 Muchas gracias to the whole team for another wonderful holiday experience 🙏

This wonderful family hotel may only be 2 stars on paper but is a 5 star in absolutely everything in hospitality. Rooms are great, service is beyond excellent. Cleaning team and kitchen team all super friendly. Front of house and service team were above and beyond. We are very excited about hopefully booking for next year and seeing some friendly welcoming faces. We unfortunately had a broken bone incident 😞 but this hotels full team and its patrons made this such a great experience. Wonderful......but please save us a space for next year. 🙏 xx just fab. A massive shout out to Adele and antonia and all the office staff. Also our lovely chef. Absolutely fantastic and a huge credit to this hotel. Thank you to all and hopefully see you next year.
