It s an Ok place. The bed was correct but the room was cold and very humid. The common place is nice but not heated as well so you can t really enjoy it. Bathroom ok but could be cleaner, warmish water.
Lovely hostel. It’s antique vibes and cozy atmosphere are almost indulging. Super friendly staff. Clean, tidy yet feels like home rather than a arranged accomm. Common area can be a bit too warm since the ventilation in the old building is not perfect. But they have a beautiful garden for you to enjoy a good time. Highly recommended.
Beautiful atmosphere, the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and colourful, there is a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen with dining and chilling area, it's also very close to the centre and with prices more than affordable. I had a beautiful experience in there and I would suggest to everyone to go there.
Great place to stay. We (a couple) got offered a separate room, which basically was like a small apartment. This was a room at the street side, and sometimes it was quite noisey - if a person walked by our front door, it seemed he was in our bedroom. Colorful colonial atmosphere, which fits in La Laguna. Attracts non-partying hostel-folk. We got a very warm welcome, with great recommendations for...
this place is amazing. the owner is very pleasant and responsible. she is a true pro. i got lost and she sent me maps/routes to get there via whatsapp and found me a parking space. she was very helpful and informative. the place is super clean, huge, the bed i slept on was huge and comfortable, the view upstairs is amazing, the kitchen is enormous. i super recommend it. :)

Low budget high quality Low budget but high quality Very clean and good double room
You will be happy you did. It is important to note that this is a very small hostel. But that being said, they treat everybody that walks in their door like family. Alejandro the manager is so attentive and friendly and excited about life. He is the perfect host and a cornucopia of information about the island and all the hiking that can be done there. He is also very happy to take you out...
I really liked staying at Arena Nest Hostel. The Hostel is very beautiful und the people are really friendly. The location is very nice. I liked the breakfast with the homemade bread. The staff is very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were always clean.
Super friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Really good breakfast with lots of variety. I really liked the homemade bread and cake. They also have some vegan options like a really good hummus. The location is perfect. You can enjoy the beach and also visit the town. I enjoyed my stay.
People :D this one is the best and my favorite of all of Nest chain The breakfast omg is for kings and queens literally! I spend 2weeks there and every day I could combine different ingredients to enjoy my breakfast. All the girls are so nice and in the good mood. They together create events and food tasting. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. I would stay again... really easy to get to the airport
Everything as described. Nice service, quiet. Very good location. Internet works well. Interesting terrace.
Good location: 10 minutes from the airport; walking distance to La Laguna bus-station, city shopping & nightlife. Clean, light dorms, shared kitchen & top-floor terrace with a bar. Nice to work and socialize with mostly backpackers & independent travellers exploring the university town. Friendly hostel-team - also help-full when problems with an other booking agent occur.
Nice location, nice rooftop terrace. Don't expect world class bathrooms and shared facilities, but it is okay. Friendly staff.
The breakfast included was only a small muffin and I booker fir a bed in a dorm of twi but I was actually in a dorm of 4. Had a great experience somehow. The staff and the people staying there were very nice and the check in was easy.
The staff is friendly and the service level is good, such as cleaning every morning.

You won't find a better place than this one. Such a unique home and caring hosts. They've been really thoughtful, not only with the dietary requirements regarding breakfast, but also with the way the table was set up in the morning. Fresh pressed juice and a big breakfast. I was able to check in early too. Muchas Gracias, for everything 💛
This place was amazing, extremely nice and clean rooms and bathrooms, and delicious breakfast. The owner is also one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, suitable for any type of person.
Very nice family , heartwarming. Nice rooms ,cosy , breakfast with fresh orange juice. A bit loud because it's an old house. But still full recommendation.
I had an open-ended day in my itinerary and my guide suggested this place and arranged it for me. It was a really lovely experience, and the owner is friendly and helpful. The charming hotel is well located in La Laguna city center and it has a very vintage look and feel, yet very clean. The breakfast spread and coffee were delicious. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time!
I stayed at this property a week ago. The location is very convenient and the establishment is unique, with a very consequent, genuine and enjoyable implementation of the bookworm motif all over the place. Rooms are basic and bathrooms as well as toilets shared, but all is very clean and sufficient if your needs aren’t sophisticated. The continental breakfast ist filling and varied. With regards to...
Amazing people run amazing place. Right in the center of la Laguna. Paola makes amazing capuchino and breakfast. Everything is clean, simple and cozy. A lot of taste teas are there for you all the day long. With a library charm, a lot of books and board games. Definitely recommended.

Do not save on hotel on Tenerife! This hotel has great location , beach right behind the back door c lots of restaurants, shops, marine is walking distance. But we faced lots of issues : the AC didn’t work in one of the rooms , phone didn’t work, be ready for bed bugs ( they didn’t bite us , but see the pictures attached ), the windows are not sound proof and there are a lot of getto people in this...
We booked 10 days in Tenerife thinking it would be more than enough, but the days went by so fast that we honestly didn’t want to leave. The hotel itself was okay - I would probably give the hotel 3 stars - but what truly made the experience amazing was the activity team that lifts it up to a 5-star stay. Giulia, Aldara, Stephanie, and Aaron were full of energy, kindness, and positivity every single...

Was disappointed. Rooms could do with updating, had cockroaches in our bathroom, room wasn’t cleaned.
Room was good with loads of facilities but it's dated and old. The sofa bed was AWFUL, it was broken and lumpy. Also there is no sun blocking curtains in the living room. So location wise it's great. Looking towards the beach turn right and it's a beautiful walk to the marina, turn left and it's British clubs and scary nightlife. Popular, modern, upmarket and very comfortable hotel that is near everything, including the beach promenade and a main bus stop for the airport and all resorts. We have stayed at this hotel about 5 times and it never disappoints. Great selection at breakfast with plenty of seating. We stayed half board and this was lovely also. Only downside is not able to get a lounger by the pool after 10am due to people holding them with their towels even though this is not permitted. Overall, I would recommend staying here, staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Wow Epic place. You should come here. Just be warned, there's a nudist area on floor 6. Don't go looking if you're weird though it's closed off. 😅😅😅
Stayed here for ten days we were supposed to stay in a hotel next door and got moved here I couldn’t be happier with the move it was 11/10 staff are so nice. cleaners are so nice. Bar staff v chatty. Food was great we got half board which include a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. The pool is amazing. We also got an upgrade to technology room I think it was great too would love to go back 😬🍻🤪

We spent 9 night in the hotel in June 2025. Hotel was completely renovated. Room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Pool was big and not too busy. We enjoyed the breakfast. Location was also very nice, close to the local promenade but from the more quiet side.
We had a great 10 day stay here..Rooms were good and reasonably spacious; ours overlooked the sea so we had a good view. Right next to the beach and a few minutes walk from the lido. This hotel looks smart but some of the surrounding hotels could certainly do with some updating. Probably the nicest part of Puerto de la Cruz is near the botanic gardens, about 20 min walk away. Breakfast was excellent...
Great hotel. Nice location on the sea-front. The rooms were clean and modern with good free wifi. There was a vending machine in the corridor for when you get the munchies but don't want to go out! Absolutely lovely experience.Fanstastic location with a beautiful view of the ocean and nice windy walk to the promenade. Very close to some of the more authentic places which not commercialised at all. The staff was amazing and service was fantastic. The food was amazing and I love the cocktails at the hotel. I will definitely be retuning for best of North Tenerife.
Perfect location for everything. Basic but clean rooms, maybe needs a refresh. Staff excellent. No drink making facilities in the room so requested a fridge which was supplied before I got back into the room. Would definitely stay again 😊
Lovely hotel, the rooms are clean but have no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities, a little dated and need a little investment for new showers, bidets, hand basin and toilet, the room attendants are all very friendly and will go the extra to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we stayed b&b for a week, which was just about long enough. We had the most amazing stay! The location was amazing and 5* service. Would definitely recommend this place to others
The staff at the hotel were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities were wonderful. My 12 year old told me it was “the best hotel experience I ever had”!
Landscaped gardens excellent staff good entertainment selection of food Poor lighting in corridors Carpets in most areas need attention
Overall quality & value proposition is good. More of a 4.5 star than 5 tho. You have to pay to use spa which is little unusual Drinks & food reasonable prices
A fantastic hotel, with top tier staffing, the facilities were great. Easy access to the local bars and restaurants but honestly wouldn’t bother going out too much if we came again as the vibe inside the hotel is way better
The issue of stars should be re-examined. Hotels packed with people at a rate of 400 euros/night can never be considered luxury. The sun and the proximity to the beach are not a merit of the hotel. Neither is the demand. The hotel is not luxury, 5 stars… rather 4 stars superior. Excessive price for what it offers (not counting the sun)

So the hotel has its faults, which the management is partially seeing to, but, in my experience, it is far from being a 4* hotel. The entertainment starts far too late. The meal service options are somewhat limited, and most restaurant staff lack any positive spirit. In most cases, I've half finished my main without any drink provision, and they never follow up with another drink if you've finished...
Lovely, calm hotel. As in other reviews, yes, money could be spent on the rooms, stair carpets, and general decor but it's generally very clean. There was entertainment, a pool/games room and a library area. Overall...
Location is tucked away from the main run of hotels. Quite adults only, 5 mins from beach. Amazing views of the north Side of the island, and cooler than the south. Nice lot of restaurants if on b and b, food at hotel is passable, but not great.
Hotel is located in a great location about a third of the way up a hill. Feels like you walk up the hill un both directions though...Staff are great very helpful and multi lingual. I will recommend the hotel to my friends and family and will ask them to attend the yoga class as well. Definitely coming back to the hotel again
Food was great and really enjoyed the location of this hotel. There could be a few small improvements such as: the entertainment was ok but could put a disco on afterwards to just end the nights better. Also the furniture in the hall could be more comfortable as my our backs were aching after a couple of hours. We stayed at this hotel for one week and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was varied and tasty. Our room on the 7th floor had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We spent a day at the spa and had a massage with José — he was very professional and we both felt completely relaxed. Highly recommended! The only reason...
This hotel is just amazing. Staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. Food is delicious, and every day they have some themes for the dinner. Cocktails were all tasty. Pools are always clean, and there's always enough space for all
The Roca Nivaria hotel is a very good option in the area and would not hesitate to recommend it. We travelled with two under 2s and it was perfect for young families with many activities planned for children and a mini club. At the same time there are areas designated for adults only both by the pool and restaurant. Very well thought out design (when you get your head around it as it’s rather large...
We have just returned from a week's holiday and had a great time at the hotel. We had a medical issue with our daughter and the hotel staff were very responsive and helpful in organising a doctor and also checking in on us afterwards. The rooms were really nice and clean, plenty of space and very large beds. All of the staff were brilliant and the animation team great with our children. We are...
Great hotel for families, however the best thing about this place was the amazing staff. They are very exceptional and very hospitable. My partner lost her gold bracelet and upon letting reception know, was found not too long after. They were on hand for everything and provided excellent service. Really makes the stay impeccable.
We keep coming back each year because we love this hotel so much! I paid extra for Upper floor for better view and I absolutely loved it! The cleanliness in this hotel is second to none! Our room was always spotless! We went with breakfast and dinner included, loads of food to choose from! Entertainment is nightly at the bar, usually its a singer nothing major but I have to mention the guy on the saxophone...

Fantastic stay! Hovima Caleta exceeded my expectations in just about every department. I loved my apartment style room, the fully stocked kitchenette is very handy. The location is great, incredible view of the ocean from my terrace. The pool is lovely, everything is very well maintained and it shows! Breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of options. I was also shocked just how peaceful and quiet...
Excellent hotel for the money you pay for it. You get even more than you would get anywhere else in Europe for the same price. All staff is really helpful and attentive. Overall hotel is very clean, quiet and its location is good. You will always find a free parking space nearby. Food is wonderfully tasty. We are going to this hotel already 3rd year in a row and we will definitely come back there again
Let us start well, the staff was kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is nice and in no time you are at a (quiet )beach. The hotel itself is clean but the rooms feel dated and could use an upgrade/ update. The food is not great ( large quantities kitchen), but don't expect a ( top) restaurant experience. I would recommend this hotel for those on a budget or those who just need a bunk to sleep
Rooms are clean. Sofa beds could do with an upgrade. They are OK for young children. But not suitable for an adult. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Food in restaurant plentiful. Its mainly local food. If you like beige food then the pool snack bar I'd open from 11am to 6pm serving, pizza, chips, hot dogs and chips. There are family restaurants in the area.
Really happy 5 night stay at this hotel. Its a 3 star hotel so my review is based on that and the excellent value for money. I booked directly and right from the first contact the staff were responsive and helpful. The hotel was very clean and welcoming, and we arrived from a late flight to a nice chilled supper in the fridge in our room. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant very much, there was a...
We had room with balcony facing the sea. The view is really nice, i think that are 200m to the sea. People were really nice and helpful. We had only breakfast included..it was buffet with a lot of options in my opinion and with good coffee. The only thing which wasn't as expected was the wifi which wasn't working for all 5 days we had there. The rest was quite nice.

We've just come back from tamaimo tropical, I travelled with my 10yr old son and on arrival i asked for ground floor which they gave us the room was amazing double bed very comfy, tv, sofa and bathroom with toilet, shower and hair dryer. Our room was cleaned every day and clean towels were put in place. There are 4 pools the main pool is big and you are allowed rings but no balls, the children's pool...
We booked through TUI on a great last min deal and were slightly sceptical after reading all the reviews. Ultimately it seems as if many of these reviews are coming from people expecting 5* luxury from a 3* hotel. The positives: -The food was diverse and always warm. -The rooms were cleaned regularly. -The dining area was great and the pools pleasant. -The surrounding area is beautiful with amazing...
Well I Am Glad Never Took notice of bad reviews could not fault Hotel should be classed as 4 star in my opinion very clean Staff lovely Food choice something for everyone Big Apartment only one I would say need more bar staff as gets very busy but we would definitely recommend and will be returning
Wow wow wow this place was absolutely amazing especially considering the price we payed, the hotel was clean and had endless amounts of entertainment, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly experience. This was our first visit but many of the holidaymakers were repeat visitors. This was due to the excellent location of the hotel, just a few mins from the beach, and because it is so cheap. We went half board and found a good choice of dishes and no upset tummies. The downside was the room was very small & poorly decorated. The bathroom stank of sewage. As we were not poolside we were in shade all...
My friend and I had a 10 day holida in January and February. It was great. The hotel staff were all exceptionally nice,it was very clean, And we thought the food was exceptional. I don’t understand the negative reviews.. there was always some type of activity to do around the pool, and the activity team was so pleasant and enthusiastic, we would go again next year but we think it will be still under...
Wasn’t expecting much, but after all I was surprised with care and service Ive received at this hotel. I enjoyed the stay with all offers and had really pleasant time. Also Yoga with John in the morning was nice and relaxing and gave me nice start of the day. Time at the pool was peaceful and calm. Even though there wasn’t many kids at the moment of my stay, hotel was looking prepared for them and...
Food was beautifully presented buffet meals. Lots of options to suit everyone. Cooked fresh as you wait steaks, fish, etc if preferred.I did see small brown bugs coming up through a hole next to the food & running across it. I'm sure the Staff are aware of this! Can it be prevented in such a large Hotel? Wine was tasty. Gardens well-established & relaxing with smoking areas separate. Beautifully lit...
Going to try and be as detailed and as honest as possible to give the best non biased review. I have just returned home from what has been a fantastic weeks stay at Sol Arona Tenerife. I used to come here every year as a child but hadn’t returned since 2019 due to covid and wanting to explore other countries. Me and my partner decided we would come here for this reason. Reading all the reviews online...
I've just come back from 10 nights here. Great location, only a couple of minutes walk to beach, shops, market, etc, and has a bus stop right outside for Siam Park, Siam Mall, and many other trips pick up there .The hotel is big and can be quite busy at times but the staff are brilliant and make sure you are happy. The food for an all-inclusive is actually really good, well cooked and lots of variety...

2nd day here and so far brilliant. The apartment has a complimentary bottle of water. There is a kettle, microwave and kitchen. Bathroom has a hairdryer, with complimentary toothpaste and toothbrush plus it has shampoo/conditioner and hand soap. The bedroom has a ceiling fan while the lounge has air conditioning. You are given a pool towel that you can swap out whenever you want. Food has been really...
Currently here for 10 nights. Apartments a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Great view of the sea from our balcony. Staff are amazing as is the food. Pools are really nice and poolside snacks and drinks are plentiful. The location is perfect. Not very far from popular tourist spots. We hired a car for 2 days and found some nice beaches to visit close by. Overall we are glad we booked...
I’m currently staying at Allegro Isora in Tenerife, and I couldn’t be happier! The location is fantastic !The rooms are spotless, and everything is working perfectly. The service is caring and friendly. The buffet offers a wide selection of delicious food, with options to suit every taste. The fitness center is well-equipped, with high-quality free weights and machines, which is perfect for keeping...
Good hotel considering the price. It’s true that you get what you pay for. Really enjoyed the food and the entertainment team. Rooms are definitely outdated and need improvement. Had all inclusive+, which is totally not worth it in my opinion. But it was a nice touch to receive a birthday gift, but lots of other things that was promised with all inclusive+ was nowhere to be found. Like bathrobes, slippers...
We traveled to Tenerife at the end of February 2025 and stayed at a hotel a 30-minute drive from the airport. Free parking outside the hotel if you can find a spot. The location was quiet, yet close to pubs and restaurants. The staff, were welcoming and attentive even surprising us with a birthday celebration for my partner! The hotel featured three pools, including a kids’ area, though the water...
We had a great time here with our 2 year old. The hotel staff were fantastic and attentive when needed. We stayed all inclusive and found the food choice and quality as good as any other all inclusive we have been too. The pools were a little cold but we found the top pool the warmest one of the three. The children’s disco was great but started a little bit late for our 2 year so she had to miss a...

Very friendly staff, facilities suitable for spending a few days with children.
Everything was great however no clear indication of what food and drinks where in the all inclusive package outside of the dinning hall.
Check in/out easy. The hotel is very nice, great pool area. Enjoyed the spa. Half board was a bonus…I didn’t know I booked that option…saved a lot of money on food! Beds are harder, room cleaned everyday, coffeemaker in room.
Anybody reading this take stock, booked this hotel on a quick break to Tenerife. The hotel was excellent, Location walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants. Management were very professional, polite, helpful. Catering staff took pride in their hospitality making sure food was presented and cooked to a high standard Cleaning staff who were always extremely busy in hotel and accommodation,...
Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff have been very kind and even gave me a bottle of fizz to celebrate my birthday. Everything is pretty much walkable. Only a couple of issues, the music from Veronica’s blares at silly o’clock in the morning, you have to pay for drinks (even water) when you have half board (dinner/lunch). The waiters can just rush you when you have either just sit down or are...
overal it was clean, great location and staf was very friendly no problem there, however must point few issues not much food choices very repetitive, tv exploaded in middle of the night sorted next day t bff tho but was not pleasant experince, 3days room not claned despite having “please clean my room sign” on the door and going out, getting to the room is not convinient, all rooms are with balcony...

I've just come home 🏡 from 10 nights. This hotel is fantastic. The staff go above and beyond. The food is consistently excellent. The atmosphere and facilities are fabulous. I loved every minute I spent there. I WILL BE RETURNING NEXT YEAR but FOR 2 WEEKS because 19 nights wasn't long enough. Thank you all for making my holiday in Puerto de la Cruz the best solo holiday I've ever had. Sara ...
Recently returned from a 2 week stay. Fantastic hotel lovely friendly staff very clean rooms. Great food served. Lovely pool area. Can’t fault anything made to feel very welcomed and really enjoyed our stay will definitely return and recommend
We stayed here all inclusive for 4 nights. So first of all- rooms; housekeeping was incredible, room attendants always had the warmest service and everything was super clean. Rooms itself are outdated, A/C making loud noise but it wasn’t too disturbing. The hotel is currently going thru renovations, reception area is lovely, the view is incredible. Did not enjoy the staff in the reception; the way...
The rooms are quite old, the bathroom needs renovation. The paint is peeling off in the corridors. The cleanliness is at the highest level. A nice surprise was the bar on the 7th floor with a jacuzzi (with quite cold water). Breakfasts could be better, little choice for vegetarians or vegans. The eating room is terribly noisy when there are more people. The clients of this hotel are mostly German pensioners
Views and location is good, near the bus stops and the beaches and the center. Situated on a high cliff in the center, the views from rooftop terrace are especially great. There are sunbeds, 2 hot tubs and drinks available too at the rooftop. Mostly older people in the hotel, so nice and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay here , we did get a lower level room at first, which overlooked a tip area . We got a move to a pool view room it was a nice room with nice views , air con could be better, maid service good We stayed bed and breakfast , the breakfast was very good and the staff were really nice and helpful . Pool area nice loads of beds and brollies life guards very nice . Pool bar staff again...
