Paragon Mirissa and Reo Mirissa by Paragon are truly hidden gems! The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay. The restaurants serve top-notch food, especially the grilled fish platters, which are an absolute must-try – perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to unwind.
The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Whether you're here for a short stay or longer, this place is a peaceful retreat with amazing food and great service. Highly recommend!

This is the worst restaurant meal I've ever had. Waited 40 minutes and when food didn't arrive finally found wait staff who took another 20 minutes to deliver meals which were so overcooked it looked charred. Impossible to cut the beef or chicken with the knife provided. So dry it was disgusting. Complained to waiter who just walked off. Complained to manager who didn't want to know anything about it. Zero stars. Stay away

We had booked thru booking .com and once we went to the hotel on the relavant day ,the owner/ manager told us that there are no available rooms. After a lot of convincing ,somehow miraculously two rooms became vacant .Talking about the rooms ,it was spacious and pretty basic but the sheets had stains on it and we had left some fruits on the table for the time we went out and it was bitten by possibly a rat. So pls make sure to improvise on these and make sure that as the hotel administration,to send cancellation emails if there’s no rooms available ,even if the booking is done via booking .com . The hotel is still accountable for the booking tho it’s done online.

Staff were good, friendly and polite. But management needs to learn good customer service. As per a previous review about charging for sun loungers, this is the only place on the beach that makes such a ludicrous charge of 1000LKR unless you buy food!!!
We had a drink and didn't opt for the food as previous reviews kinda put us off. Suffice it to say when we asked for the bill, we were told by the staff member (who was very polite by the way) that we were to be charged 2000 LKR for the loungers as we had 2 of them. I agreed to pay the charge but did say I wasn't very happy as nobody else on the beach charges people as long as drinks are purchased and I may have to leave a review.
Suffice it to say after a long wait , by partner went to "Have a word" and she managed to get the change back without the sun lounger charge. You would have thought they would have taken note of previous customer comments and reviews.
I guess this hotel is prepared to charge pennies in the short term but lose a lot more by way of reputation and ultimately income.
Sort it out Management, just have a look at what others are doing around you and maybe you will get more custom. Also take note of your reviews as criticism from customers should be an indicator of what is actually wrong and needs to be sorted.

The location was excellent, and the hotel bar is one of the best in the area. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
However, I had to change rooms because the first room had a very bad smell, which made it hard to sleep. The second room was better, but the smell was still noticeable.
There was no hot water at all.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Sri Lanka.

The rooms are simple, but everything was working properly, AC, Wifi and the safe too. If you‘re sensitive to noise it‘s probably not the best place to stay, because you hear the music from the restaurant, but it was no problem for me and the vibes in the restaurant were great.
The food is not cheap but really good and the service is caring, although not always properly following up. It‘s directly located at the beach front and the beach is nice too.
Overall and considering the good price I can recommend this hotel.

Very poorly maintain, hardly any parking space, No swimming pool, room infested by ants insects, No hot water in rooms, sub standard bathroom, with bad oduers, Food is 5times higher than surrounding places, always go to surrounding restaurant avoied in house restaurant. If you can Avoied this place if possible.

After reading reviews we thought this was going to be a great place to stay. The Good: fantastic location, and large rooms. The Bad: check in was pretty ordinary with been ignored while talking over us with other staff members. Although the rooms are incredibly spacious, the smell of mould was overwhelming. Sheets were ripped and pillow cases stained.. we were not the only ones dissatisfied. On check in there was another couple not happy with the room. We could not stay another night and checked out the next morning. (To be fair we did not ask for different rooms) On checking out there was another family moving next door as they could also not tolerate it. We moved down to the Surf Beach resort which was amazing only $15US more expensive but that included breakfast. Paragon, place could be fantastic with some TLC.

We have just spent 3 lovely days at the Paragon Hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, it’s right next to the beach and the staff were very friendly. We only planned to stay one night but were so happy with the hotel and the location we thought why move elsewhere 😎 Thank you for a wonderful experience 🙏

Excellent food and excellent customer service. Mr. Isuru and Mr. Ben provide us a good service. I full filled my sea food cravings . Highly recommending this place don’t ever miss this spot if you’re ever traveling to down south. thank you once again !! ❤️
