Beautiful room - the sea view really is something special! The staff could not have been more helpful - they got up very early and sorted tuk tuks so we could go whale watching. They also do an exceptional breakfast. Would recommend!

The room had a good view of the sea and was well-furnished with cabinets, a coffee table, a desk, a tea bag table, a luggage rack, a large bed, and a sofa at the foot of the bed. Sea World Boutique is a FANTASTIC hotel - we loved our stay there. The hotel itself is stunning (the pictures don't even do the beauty of the location justice!) but more than that, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, so friendly and it was a difficult day when we had to leave! Thanks to everyone for a brilliant few days in paradise.

Large and clean rooms, and lovely staff! They looked after my lost property and responded to my emails until I returned. Also, there was enough space between two double four poster beds to feel like I was in the room alone. Their breakfast smoothie bowl is a must!

The only thing exchange about extreme host is the extreme heat and humidity in the rooms. The rooms are poorly ventilated and when we were there had frequent power outages. The bathroom and kind of old. They being said, the host is quite friendly and helpful and I can't really think of anything negative about him. The room is quite large as well.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. We lived almost like a family for 4 month together, celebrated holidays and birthdays, shared traditional food from our national cuisines. Thilakawardana and Violet became our Sri-Lankian grandparents and assisted immediately with all the requests. The rooms are good for it's price. From the upper floors you can see the ocean. Marvelous family! We were living there for more than a month. We were pleased with their help. Every time we needed some advise or help, we got it. Diana and her children were playing with our 1 year and 3 years old children. Our daughter loved the youngest of them. It was very nice to receive presents for our children birthdays! We were a walk-in guest with no reservation and we take a room for three nights. Nice and comfortable place. It is close to beach and far enough from main road filled with crazy bus drivers with their hands on car horn. Great sleep.

Very beautiful cottage, & very nearby to the beach.

2 minutes walk to the Mirissa beach. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The landlady was super helpful and didn't charge us extra for making breakfast and dinner. (We provided the ingredients). The food was delicious. Absolutely worth the money!

Had our laundry done here and it was a fabulous service from start to finish, I had done multiple activities before arriving in Mirissa such a jeep safari and climbing Sigiria rock so some clothes had hard stains on white clothes yet they came out also as good as new! If your staying in the area I would highly recommend this place

This is a simple classic guesthouse but also low price. And has hot water, if you need to wash hair it’s quite nice. Might not be the most charming or comfortable rooms or area but it’s very close to the beach and the owner is very sweet and welcoming. I find it VERY hard = unlikely that she would ever have done what some in here accuse her for.

Very spacious & beautiful to stay

This is a cheap, small and nice 4 room guest house. The ladie running the place mrs Sriani is a great cook and we asked for only Lankees food and it was very good. No aircones and noy need. Big rooms big bath. Covered terrace outside all rooms with table and chairs. minutes walk to a very nice beach.

Absolutely beautiful guest house, the breakfast each morning was very big with many savory and sweet treats and Assi gave me great tips for nearby beaches and snorkeling, I appreciated his help very much! If you can, I recommend to get the deluxe room with the balcony, you get a sea view and the room is huge, I highly recommend it :) thank you for the great stay and I recommend this guet house to everyone

Sunstyle Homestay is a family-run place with a very warm atmosphere and a perfect location. It’s the only place I would stay every time I come to Mirissa. Coconut Tree Hill is just 5 minutes walk away. A big thank you to Assi, who took such great care of us in every way; always smiling and so kind, along with her lovely family. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommended!

Close to Mirissa beach! What I loved: Very welcoming, helpful and friendly host. Position close to Coconut Tree Hill and Parrot Rock. Rich breakfast. Comfortable bed with mosquito net Great a/c and ample room with balcony. What I did not like: The street is a bit noisy. Despite the room was clean, like in many other Asian countries, you have to be prepared to find some of insects, like cockroaches

I REALLY loved this location. Was a 13min walk to the “main strip” or a 2 min Tuktuk. My room was large and comfortable and had a balcony that overlooked the ocean. Was up high enough I could sleep with the door open to get some breeze in the night but still have privacy. The property is so clean and tidy and covered in plants. The price was a bargain and I would really love to come again.

Great guesthouse in the middle of town, but really quiet and comfy. The host and his family are very friendly and can help you with everything you have planned. It has a shared kitchen area and fridge. Would always return.

My wife and our 2 children stayed here for a week, the room was comfortable and dry during the heavy rains. The only noise we heard was from peacocks and one night a bull frog in the yard next door. Although mosquitoes were plenty in the town due to the weather we had barely any in the room which was a relief. Delicious breakfast (housewife can prepare everything what you wish - especially Local food). Very quiet place with garden and place to sit and relax. You can choose AC/nonAC rooms - above it there are fans in all rooms (+small fridge) There are many restaurants and buffe around, 3 minutes by foot to the beach. We can highly recommend - next time in Mirissa we will stay here again.

Its a great location in Mirissa hosted by a family taking the hospitality to THE next level. Prices are compared to other parts of the country high seen to the standard provided. Breakfeast was amazing every Day.

Lovely welcome. Room was super clean with an amazing view. Excellent location- few steps to the beach and also to a part where the waves aren't too strong. Rooms are simple but all you need, hot water, wifi etc . Yoga and massage available next door at Suriya Wellness. We were sad to leave. Really enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Decided to stay there after a stroll on the beach, and what a good decision that was! Location is great, really close to mirissa main beach but quiter and not busy at all. The view is amazing to the beach. Room is basic but all you need really. The owner is so nice and helpful! With a huge smile all the time.

Wonderful location. A saved territory right after Mirissa. Rooms are very basic but with a wonderful view and directly at the water. Priyanka, who is taking care of the place is very kind to the guests and will prepare you a wonderful breakfast. She also has the one of the cleanest kitchens i have seen in Sri Lanka. The owner is a very kind man and also can drive you with his tuk tuk! Please feel free to ask about the tuk tuk drive, unfortunately we noticed it a little bit to late. Also you can snorkel with turtles and he showed us the best spot at the beach to do that. Further the breakfast was pretty nice and also he borrowed us scuba goggles!

Really comfortable and calm place, the host family is super friendly and there is a very close acces to the sea. For a little extra you can make use of the kitchen and cook your own meals to enjoy on the balcony :D

Perfect place. Air conditioning was not needed. Large balcony on the second floor, in the evenings sat there. The hostess cooks delicious food. Beach with turtles 50 meters away. Shop with fresh fish 150 meters away. Tuna, shrimp - gave to the hostess, she cooked according to my desire. Great vacation.

Would definitely recommend to stay here. Everyone is super freindly and welcoming which is really nice. The room was super nice with staff 24/7 so always felt super safe. Had the best time here so would definitely come back. :)

The location is 10/10. It is near the beach and near the citycenter. The room has an AC and the bathroom was in a good condition. The hostel offers everyday a fantastic All you can eat buffet, and it‘s very cheap. The owner was very kind and could answer all our questions and helped a lot. The only issue was, that in the night we could hear some monkies on our roof.

Great hostel with AC, very friendly staff especially Hamidreza! We stayed for one night as we were passing through, and had a great nights sleep. Beds are comfy, mosquito nets are good, facilities were all clean and modern. Overall a great hostel and worth staying here if you are in Mirissa!

The location of this hostel is a 10 minute walk inland despite what is shown on google maps. In addition, there is no pool as advertised in the pictures. The place is a great cheap option for the area. It is important to note that there was no A/C. The owner Roy was a gracious host. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe arrival from the airport and that I felt welcomed.

Not a bad beach at all, good swimming with surf at the eastern end, a selection of beach bars, the food could be better but it's ok. What was really really great was baby turtles hatching and going to the sea from a controlled hatchery at about mid beach.

Fine sand, tumbling surf and a numerous places to eat and drink. A great beach for sun-bathing, swimming and strolling along. Surfing focused on the eastern end. Free shade is scarce to find and the surf is probably too rough for unattended small children.

Great find for a budget traveler! The rooms were very clean, and you can't beat the beautiful ocean view. We loved the clean pool for a dip. It's slightly outside of the main Mirissa area, but the staff are wonderful and arranged tuk-tuks for us without any hassle. The huge breakfast spread was the perfect way to fuel up!

Stayed at this resort in Mirissa with a family for a vacation (1 night stay). The setting on the beach is beautiful. We were directly on the sea and the bay was great for swimming, The rooms are large and comfortable, The pool is lovely in a warm climate. The food was very tasty and the hospitality was warm and welcoming.

Last minute booking. The family that run this were so hospitable. One of the brothers did our half day safari and he was both reasonably priced, drove well and we managed to see all we hoped to see in Yala. Left at 4.45 with a basket full of food and returned to a beautiful home cooked meal. Support this lovely family, it’s worth it!
