We loved the family room, absolutely recommended, one of our favourite places to stay in sri lanka. The breaki is very yammy and a lot and Nethmi (the stuff) is a very friend person with a beautiful soul. It is nice located , 1min walk from the beach, but not directly along the street.

Lovely Hotel! Very spacious, very clean & lovely lady that runs the place. We stayed here for 4 nights - it was perfect, very close to the beach and right next door to the gym! Really great breakfast cooked fresh with various options - would really recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

This is one of the best places we have stayed in Mirissa. The rooms are very big, the washrooms are spacious and everything is very clean. Amazing people, big room, nice view of the sea. If you want they can clean your room every day. We wanted to use our laptop here so they even put a stronger WiFi router for us (for free!). Would recommend it to anyone!

This is the best place to stay in Mirissa for sure, don’t doubt it and book this accommodation, you will feel comfortable 100%. We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. Firstly, room and bathroom are really huge and clean. Decoration is modern and so white that I love it! Also, hotel is located just 2 min to Mirissa Beach and 12 min to Coconut Tree Hill by walking. Breakfast was delicious and we loved Ceylon tea! I’m working remotely and there is a table for working easily in the room. We’d like to come here again!

Excellent value for money here. Nice comfortable bed with a mosquito net and good AC, and a very nice balcony with a lovely view of the treeline. Service is excellent - good laundry service, and very attentive and helpful staff supporting quickly with any issues. There was some issues with the hot water for the shower, but for us this wasn’t a big issue since it’s been too hot for a hot shower anyway...

Stayed twice during my stay in Mirissa at Orchid Rest. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the hosts are so incredible kind! Quite far is the beach. Rooms are big and spacious but the problem is the ground floor rooms never receive sunlight so there is mould smell in the room. The owner is very sweet and makes sure you don’t have any difficulty while staying in the property. The property has beautiful small kitchen where you can easily cook food.

We had a room on the first floor with a balcony which had a table and chairs. The bed had a mosquito net around it which was necessary. Good stay right opposite the coconut hill and bang on main road.Big property with swimming pool and tons of open space . It's across the street from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The night view is beautiful, and in the morning you can see crabs and mudskippers on the rocks. You can wade across the water to reach the small island.

Our guide organised a birthday lunch at this beautiful hotel. They served the best Sri Lanka’n curry we’ve had in our 3 week trip to the island. The staff was very nice and made the experience fantastic. Absolutely worth a visit👌

Not worth for money but good staffs

Nice hôtel with good rooms and location. But we had 2 issues there : 1/ a lot of noise due to unexpected roof top party, we have asked to stop twice the music , it was not respectful!!! 2/ we have been at 8:30 at the breakfast and all the other clients have been already , almost nothing left to eat. We needed to ask to get some more.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during our trip around Sri Lanka. The hotel is in a great location in Mirissa and the staff were lovely! At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. The hotel is reasonably priced, however for that, you get a hotel in a good location with nice staff, a clean room and WiFi. Starting 3000 rupees for a night is unbeatable for a beachfront, but….. On weekends music is sometimes all night long, u will hear it better in rooms with sea view. Windows of other rooms are on the main road.. Bad smell in the bathroom after rains

We came to SeaStar several times for lunch as it was next to our hotel. The food was always great, the beers were cold, and the staff were really friendly. It’s right next to Coconut Tree Hill, so you get amazing views of both the hill and the sunset.

We went to Hikkaduwa and then returned to this hotel with a beautiful view from the balcony! We have not found anything better for this price. The rooms are spacious, large windows, a balcony with a view of the ocean. Hearty delicious breakfasts.

This is a very small facilitated hotel with great views of coconut tree hill. Very near to the view point and amazing environment .Rooms are not well maintained and well equipped. There are hardly any furniture in the room. Apart from that I found people are friendly.

Good sized room. Generally clean. Good breakfast. Good location. No issues with hot water. Very tired furniture and decorations. Bathroom especially could do with renovation like fixing broken toilet seats. Issue with ants coming into the rooms. There is a construction site next door at the time of writing.

We had a wonderful stay at Poppies, stayed for a week. Rooms are clean and comfortable, location is great, and although it's in the middle of everything it's remarkably quiet. And best of all is the staff, especially Kushan is a super star. Thanks for everything, we'll be back.

The room was clean, beds ware comfortable, but it was too small for us. There was a lot of mosquitos, but it wasn't a problem to sleep, because we had mosquito net around the bed. The breakfast was included too, it was simple, but quite okay. The beach was 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem to walk.

Well, the hotel itself is okay, with a pool that has good views. Honestly, I booked it because it had good reviews and was on sale, but the room was really outdated. It had a lot of issues, like they tried to fix things without doing it properly, and the water pressure in the shower was barely there. However, the breakfast was good, and you could have it delivered to the terrace of your room.

This hotel is located right on the beach. Deck chairs within 20 ft of the ocean. It's hard to beat. Swimming pool also with ocean views. I paid for a budget room and so I never expected much. We really enjoyed our stay at Mirino. Its conveniently located just off the main road, walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Rooms were large, modern, clean. Hot water with good pressure (this is noteworthy for Sri Lanka!). Struggled with wifi connectivity at times but for the most part it was fast. A TV in the room would have been nice

I have stayed 2 months at this beautiful place! It‘s so clean, hot water and even a rooftop kitchen with an amazing view. The owners are very friendly and always here to help. The area is quiet and only 200m from the beach. I highly recommend to stay here.

Stayed for two nights after leaving another guesthouse- this place was fantastic. Great location, only a 2 minute walk down to the beach, and really good prices. The owners are in the process of revamping after some time away so expect that it will be even better in the coming months. Toilet shower is not en suite but that didn’t bother us.
