Cutting 1-star because the hotel does not accept card for payments - you need cash!! Rooms are good, nice view. Service is non-existent, it's more of a self-service kind of a model which we didn't mind. The caretaker is helpful with his recommendations.

Stayed there for a night with my family. Unfortunately, we didn't have good time as the room was dirty, the AC leaked dirty water and the bed canopy rail was broken. It looked like a run-down place. Expected better when we're paying a higher than average price. Wasn't a good value for money at all. The only upside was the location of the hotel and its close proximity to the beach.

Although without a sandy beach front, this resort is one of the best. Perfect to enjoy a quiet time by the beach, soaking in the sun at the pool. The staff here are helpful and friendly. Food served is deliciously good. The beach front is a bit rocky but could still enjoy the water along the shores.

This is my 2nd time in Hangover Hostel I am welcomed on here like a family. Rooms and Washrooms are clean and they clean it more often. I love the company we had with other backpackers. Lota of interesting stories to hear. They arrange tours, activities if needed for a reasonable price.

This is really late but I stayed here back at the end of 2019 with two of my friends and it was such a beautiful and calm villa. We had two rooms on top that overlooked a nice grassy and tree filled plot on the side. The host was so sweet and accommodating and helped us by getting us scooters to rent as well. We visited 5 years ago and decided to return because breakfast and location was so good. Obviously location is still great but breakfast was very disappointing. A more beautiful place is hard to find! Especially at night time when the fireflies are twinkling al around and you can hear the oceanwaves in the background. We had a lunch here. Club sandwich and pasta dishes both were very tasty. Happy hour starts at 4pm. (Buy one get one free) the beds here come with lunch. It's perfect as they have good quality beds and when the tide rolls in the beds have a step up to be placed on. Good service too.

You can tell that this place used to be a luxury hotel but the management shifted over. Now theres only a couple people running it at any given time and facilities that need to be updated. It is probably the best budge AC rooms in Mirissa but you'll have to make a couple first world sacrifices. The service is really friendly and helpful and clean the rooms well.
