EKHO Ella in Ella

Our visit, although brief, was memorable! The facilities are incredible and set in a breathtaking mountain scenery with the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets we have ever seen. The entire staff was kind and helpful, especially Priyantha Thakshisa who helped carrying our luggage down many stairs to the garden rooms!

Great location with amazing view! the staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Priyantha and Thakshila, who welcomed us very well and made sure we are comfortable throughout our whole stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and the view was beautiful. We made sure to wake up for sunrise views from the room.The service at the restaurant was nice, Sanjay and the team, arranged for us a romantic dinner table with candles and roses. The plant their own vegetables in the garden and use it at the restaurant. Overall great experience and would definitely come back!

Had 2 nights stay in EKHO Ella on way from Sigiriya to Bentota. Hotel setting was amazing with wonderful views from our bedroom and the immaculate hotel gardens. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you Sanjeewa, Naveen, Janith and Sanjayo. 100% recommend.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The views are amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff are very accommodating.

What a magical experience! This is one of the most beautiful views on the planet. From a warm and welcoming greeting on arrival, to friendly meal service, the staff was so kind and engaging. Sanjeewa made sure we had everything we needed, and took such lovely care of us. Seriously, these views. (And if you’re into birds, there are Sri Lankan Grey Hornbills on the property along with lots of bulbuls and swifts!)

The stay was more than wonderful. The staff was very friendly and didn't skimp on anything. They upgraded the room for the same price as a regular room. The mountain views were excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the hotel was classy. Mr. Priyahtha and Mrs. Thankshila were very helpful. Overall the property has a great view of Ella landscape as advertised. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Food was excellent. The staff were friendly and courteous. Priyantha who oversaw the front reception area and guest experience constantly checked in on us to ensure our needs are met. Overall we had a great time for the two days we stayed in Ella.

The hotel was on my bucket list for a long time. Im so happy I booked it. From the welcoming with calming music, the room was gorgeous, the views were stunning. Wonderful service from Priyantha and Thakshina. I will definitely be back for a longer stay or go to one of the sister properties in Sigiriya. Thank you ❤️

Our stay in Ekho Ella was very enjoyable and memorable. The rooms have stunning views of the Ella Gap, a beautiful valley that’s scenic and peaceful, and have a rustic charm accompanied by old fashioned decors. It’s also walking distance away from town’s Main Street filled with restaurants, cafés and bars. We booked the half board plan with breakfast and dinner and I have to say that the food service at the restaurant was the standout experience. The service manager Dinesh along with his team that included Sanjeewa, Umesh, Janith and Naveen surprised us during every meal. Despite my vegan preferences and my daughter’s picky choices, they were able to get us customized items that exceeded our expectations. Everything put together, this was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back again.

A very nice hotel, facing two mountains with beautiful views. Dinner includes live music. Service and cleanliness are also excellent. The only downside is the ramp in front of the hotel, which is bumpy and frequently blocked by cars, but I guess the hotel can't do anything about it. A highly recommended hotel.
