Ivy Beach Resort in Galle

Great location with direct access to the beach. Staff were friendly and available to cater to any necessities while also not being intrusive. Rooms and washrooms were well maintained and had all the modern amenities. A small nitpick would be the mismatch of lighting colours in the rooms. Ambience on the lawn was great and served as an ideal place for a large gathering and for little kids to run around. The pool while not huge, was clean and nice to relax in. The food was okay. Nothing amazing but good enough. The place overall provided great privacy thanks to them reserving the whole villa. (Although this is due to their minimum booking requirement of 5 rooms). All in all had a great stay and would highly recommend for a family gathering or large group.

We stayed at IVY for 3 nights. We were 18 adults and 9 kids (aged 5 months to 7 years). We had a comfortable stay. The service was impeccable. The chef customised the food for us as we are vegetarian and the taste was excellent. Mr Malith helped us with all the bookings for the resort, arranged cars for us, arranged a dj, set up a sit down dinner near the beach, a movie night also and was also prompt with replies for even the smallest of queries before the trip. Mr Kushan the manager also was very helpful and helped in arranging whatever we needed for our stay. He ensured everything is in order and stayed till the event concluded. The best part of the team was they never said no and always had a smile on their face.
The property is adjoining the beach and about 15 minutes drive to galle town.

Very beautiful place with nice rooms and clean bathrooms. The view is gorgeous and peaceful. Special note about the service and the friendly staff. Will be coming again..
