A boutique hotel with a green area in the quiet resort of Passikudah. All rooms with sea view, in the design used natural materials and folk motifs of Sri Lanka. The organization of wedding ceremonies.

Location: on the East coast of Sri Lanka, 280 km from the international airport and 36 km from the local airport Batticaloa. Transfer from the airport for about 6 hours.

Consists of two-storey bungalows.

The hotel has 38 rooms.

Ugh Bay is a great place ... from the very first view (spectacular) as they open the gates, to everything else in the 24 hours we were there (too short!). The location is lovely, the beach is just outstanding, the service and people are smiling and always helpful, the food is tasty ... what else to ask for? :-) We'll be back for sure, and you should go too

Loved our visit to this gorgeous hotel, from arrival to our leaving Uga Bay the team made us feel welcome and special everyday. The location is stunning with a fantastic beach and sea for swimming and beach walks. Swimming pool with infinity setting is spotless. Lots to do locally with trips locally or father afield with nature and history enchanting. The people really made the difference and will mean we return soon. Dilrukshi and her front of house team Prasanna, Nuwan and Keshwa gave us a warm welcome every day. Lalith and Nissankar in the restaurant made our food experience amazing along with head chef. Mud Crab Curry was sensational. Thanks Uga Bay

We stayed at Uga Bay in January. The monsoon weather cut our outdoor plans short, but the stay itself was still fun and relaxing. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was good with a nice variety, while lunch and dinner were à la carte and enjoyable. Facilities like the swimming pool and gym helped us make the most of our time despite the weather. The staff were pleasant and friendly throughout our stay, especially Prasanna, who was very helpful. Overall, a pleasant experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful place. Super Service all round. The hotel has an executive chef from Galle, who creates incredibly delicious dishes!! Great beach . However, sad to say although they have a lovely pool which they say is 38 meters in length one can swim only 19 meters after that it’s super shallow!! That is the only architectural disaster we encountered.

Our stay at Uga Bay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm and genuine welcome. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and truly take care of you throughout your stay. The food was excellent, especially for fish lovers. The seafood options were fresh, clean, and very well prepared, with great variety and quality. Every meal felt thoughtfully made. The atmosphere of the resort is very calm and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The swimming pool is beautiful, the gym is good, and the private beach is clean and well maintained, which made spending time outside extremely enjoyable. Our room was large, very clean, and beautifully designed. Housekeeping was excellent—everything was always spotless, and the team constantly made sure we were comfortable. We also had very warm and pleasant weather, which made the entire experience even better. Overall, Uga Bay is a perfect choice if you are looking for peace, comfort, high-quality food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for a relaxing and luxurious beach stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Uga Bay Hotel in Sri Lanka. The hotel was excellent and our holiday was very relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. A special highlight was the excursion with our guide Nimal. It was an exciting day, and Nimal told us a lot about the country, the culture, and daily life in Sri Lanka. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip unforgettable. We can highly recommend this hotel and the tours with Nimal. We would love to come back!

If you are looking for a place that will help you relax and recharge your batteries in no time, then you have come to the right place. From the tasteful décor of the rooms to the well-maintained grounds, you will feel completely at home here. The quality of the food is above average and appropriate for the facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Any requests that were not standard were accommodated. Comments or even "criticism" were taken on board and remedied immediately. I would particularly like to mention Priyadarshani Dilrukshi. She lives her profession for the guests. Thank you very much.

The hotel is beyond praise. The staff are trying. Very clean. The food is delicious, we had a set menu for dinner, the quality of good Moscow restaurants, presentation and taste, well done guys. The breakfast is simple, but we were never hungry, everything is high quality. The beach is soft sand, the ocean, small waves, warm, we left wanting to cry. We got there longer than usual, the driver made a wrong turn and we ended up at the hotel 9 hours after landing. 9 hours on the road, it seems like nothing will help heal this wound)) but yeah Bay did it. This is a paradise with great guys, let's tip them, they deserve it!

The most expensive hotel I stayed in during this trip to Lanka, of course it is also worth the price. The room is a seaside villa, and the beach is just outside the door. The hotel swimming pool is great, with a wide view.
